Taro's POV

Her teared up eyes stared into mine, and her face was leaning closer to me. Her lips were centimeters away from mine, along with smile was grazed on her face.

We were so close to kissing until-

"AYANO?" Someone shouted.

I took a step back, and someone came rushing towards us, panting.

"I didn't think you would be here!"

It was a girl from our school. She had long green hair and green eyes. It took me a while, but I realized who it was. It was the girl who sat with Ayano for lunch when I was.. ahem.. not stalking her.. totally..

"Oh, Midori-Chan! I didn't expect to see you here. In fact, I didn't expect to see any students here," Ayano sweat dropped.

"Oh! Well.. There's a couple of students here. I saw Kokona and a strange man here too. Weird, isn't it? I thought Kokona was dating Riku," She told us, her arms were in a thinking pose.

"Show us where they," I heard Ayano say. Midori nodded, grabbed both of our arms, and dragged us to the place where they both were.

The scene in front of me made me gasp. The stranger talking to Kokona seemed like an adult, and Kokona was just.. smiling and enjoying it. Ayano pulled out a phone and took a picture as they were.. kissing.

"Gross," Ayano muttered under her breath, as she began sending it online.

"Wait.. Are you really posting that Ayano?" I asked her. She nodded her head. "Duh, what else am I supposed to do? I need Riku to see her sins."

I chuckled. "I guess you're right."

Midori wasn't even paying attention to our conversation, she just kept looking around, gazing at every attraction she can see with her two green eyes. Her eyes eventually stopped in front of a food stall, and tugged on Ayano's sleeve.

"Ayano-Chan, can we go there?" She pointed at the stall. Ayano blinked twice at the stall, trying to see what it was.

It was a stall that sells fresh funnel cakes. Ayano sighed and nodded, and then began to tug the bottom of my shirt.

"We're going," she told me.

I followed her to the funnel cake stall. Midori's eyes widened and stared at the delicious pastry, drooling. She then pulled out her money and ordered five of them. Ayano and I gulped. She was going to eat that many?

Once they were finished, Midori took an entire funnel cake and stuffed it inside her mouth. The. Entire. Thing. That gigantic thing. In one bite. No ripping, no forks, nothing.

I was sweating as I saw her eat it, and I think Ayano noticed me sweating too. We both backed away slowly, and then we just went somewhere else, not knowing what we should do at this point.

"So.. merry-go-around?" I asked her.

"No thanks. After seeing that, I don't want to anymore."

I tilted my head at her, and then looked around.

"How about.. a Ferris wheel?" I recommended. Ayano agreed and we both headed to the large ride.

Ayano's POV

"Woah! We're so far up!" I exclaimed, my eyes looking down to the tiny people on the ground. I can see every single ride and attraction from here.

I heard a chuckle from Taro. A light blush was on my face, and an orange-yellow sunset was now in the sky instead of the usual light blue one.

"You know.. you're really cute when you're excited over something." My cheeks turned from a light pink to more of a dark red. I looked at Taro, and his grey eyes were the only thing I could stare at.

He tilted my chin so that I would face him. His body was leaning closer to me, and a small smile was plastered on his face.

"You're beautiful," he mumbled.

I closed my eyes, trying to swat his hand away from my chin, but it stayed there with no movement at all.

"We still haven't.. kissed," he whispered in my ear. My eyes widened. I completely forgot about that.

He chuckles seductively, and now both of our faces are really close to each other.

Moments of silence consumed us, our faces coming closer and closer.

Until it finally happened.

We were kissing each other.
