Chapter 16

Ayano's POV

Before any student arrived at school, I headed over to the headmaster's office to give him my paper which states that I will be unrolling in their school and that I'll be transferring into a different one.

When I knocked on the door and opened it, his eyes averted from his laptop and then to me. His eyes widened scaredy, his body shaking.

"W-What are you doing here," he asked in a quiet tone.

"I'm here to drop my paper off. I'm transferring schools today, so I'm leaving these papers in your hands."

He nods in response and held out both of his hands so that he can collect the papers. I gave it to him.

"Goodbye headmaster," I told him.

I waited for a response, but I didn't get one. Sighing, I left his office and went out to the school gates.

And then, at that moment, my heart started to throb. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried breathing normally so that the pain can go away, but it didn't work at all.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming towards my direction. My heart started to speed up instead of throbbing. I started to stare at the ground, not wanting the person to see me. This type of situation only happens when.. he's around.

"Ayano..?"

I didn't move. It was him. I'm positive it is him.

"Ayano, may I ask why you're wearing a different school outfit than ours? Or maybe.. are you..?"

Before he could ask, I immediately ran away from him. He called out my name, running after me, but what he didn't know was that I can run fast and that I have very high stamina.

I continued to run away from him until I reached the school that I transferred to. I looked around a bit to see if he was here yet. When I saw that he wasn't here, I quickly ran into the school.

After a while of sitting and watching, I decided to change my shoes and then go to class. Some students saw me and began giggling, most likely the popular kids. Sighing, I just continued to walk to my class, ignoring them.

"Hello class! Today, there's a new student who has transferred to our school today. Will you stand up and introduce yourself please?" The teacher asked. I stood up from my seat.

"Hello, I'm Ayano Aishi. I was a student at Akademi High, but recent events have happened and now I'm here," I said before sitting down. People around me began whispering to each other, talking about rumors about Akademi.

"Alright, alright. Everyone settle down," the teacher called out. Everyone immediately stopped talking and looked at the teacher. The teacher began the lessons in which I already learned back at Akademi, so I decided to take a long nap.

"......Hey, this is the new transferred girl from Akademi, right?"

"Yeah, yeah! You wanna wake her up?"

"Sure!"

A poke was given to my shoulder as I yawned, waking up from my slumber.

"She's awake, she's awake!"

I looked up to see a pair of twins. Both of their hairs were orange with yellow/brown eyes. The only difference I saw was that part of their hairs were facing a different direction. One of the twins' hair faces the left, while the other faced the right.

"Hello miss, you sure look pretty," the one on the left said.

I muttered a "thanks" to him before looking at the time. It was lunch time, so I went into my bag to find a bento box that I made. I started to head up towards the roof.

"Wait, wait!" One of them called out.

I sighed and turned around.

"What do you want?" I hissed.

Both of them looked at each other then back at me.

"We were wondering if we can eat together, if that's okay with you of course," the one on the right asked.

"Whatever," I responded. They cheered and then started dragging me to a big room that was full of luxuries.

"Oh.. my," I gasped. They both chuckled and then formed into an introduction-like position.

"Welcome to the our club, the Ouran Host Club!"
