Chapter 21

Ayano's POV

Girlfriend.. girlfriend..

That word was haunting my mind for days ever since the event had happened.

I can't stop thinking about it. It's driving me nuts.

Girlfriend..

"Make it stop!" I yelled out loud. My hands slammed against my school desk making a loud thump.

Everyone began to stare at me. I felt my face turn red in embarrassment.

"Ayano, do you need to see Megamo?" The teacher asked.

"W-What! N-N-"

"Actually, just go now," the teacher interrupted. I sighed and stood up from my seat.

I headed towards his office and knocked on his office door.

...

No answer.

Well, it is during school hours after all, he should be in class.

I was about to go back when the door opened. I jumped slightly.

"Oh, it's you," he grumbled.

His silky white hair and clear bright eyes were the first thing that I saw.

He continues to stare at me with his white orbs.

"Well, are you coming in?" He asked.

We both went inside the room. He sat in his black chair while I sat on a wooden chair.

"You got sent here, yes? What did you get sent here for?" He questioned.

I fiddled with my fingers.

"I was thinking about something and then I accidentally yelled it out during class, causing a disruption."

He gave a small 'tch' before looking at me once again.

"Stupid," he muttered.

"H-Huh?" I asked.

"I'm not going to punish you. Really, your teacher must be stupid for sending you here," he sighed.

"Y-Yeah," I stammered.

His calm eyes moved from me and onto his computer.

"You can leave now if you like, but you probably want to spend time with me," he smirked, turned to me for a split second, and gave me a small wink.

I felt my face turn red.

"I-I.. I have a boyfriend.."

'What am I saying?! What am I thinking?! Taro isn't actually my boyfriend!'

"Taro, correct? He's not actually your boyfriend, I know that much."

'How-'

"I'm kind of like your Info-Chan at your school, I guess. I also know Megami. She told me all about you being a yandere. You've killed a lot of female students just for Taro."

He gave me a grin.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.. unless you become my girlfriend," Megamo chuckled.

"W-What! N-No way!" I screeched.

"Then I'll tell everyone over the announcements," he said to me.

"N-No!" I screamed.

"Then be my girlfriend."

"No!" I screamed once again. "I-I can go out on a date with you, j-just not that!"

He ponders for a few seconds.

"Five dates. Five dates and I won't tell anyone." He smiles at me with those calm white eyes with his fingers playing around with a pen.

"F-Fine," I agreed.

"Great! How about we have one tomorrow?" He asked.

"Tomorrow?" I questioned him.

"Yes tomorrow. You're free, right? Tomorrow is Saturday after all."

I think about my plans tomorrow before answering him.

"I'm free tomorrow."

"Great!" He exclaimed. "I'll see you tomorrow then!"

"Y-Yeah.. tomorrow.." I muttered.

I stood up and walked towards my classroom.

What is Taro supposed to think about this? Is he going to be mad at me?

I shook my head. He probably won't be if I told him the truth.

Before I reached my classroom, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I lifted up my phone to see a message from Light.

Light: Hey, how's it going?

I stared at the message for a few seconds.

Ayano: I'm fine. By the way, why are you typing during class?

Light: I already learned about this stuff. I am considered really smart, you know.

Ayano: Right.. anyways, I need to learn. I'll see you later.

Light: Bye.

I opened my classroom door, sat in my seat, and continued to learn.

Taro's POV

Finally. I can unroll in my school and go to Ayano's school.

I gave my paper to the headmaster.

"You're.. leaving?" He questioned.

I nodded my head.

"I have to," I replied.

He nodded his head and sighs.

"You were a good student, and I respect your decision. I hope your future will be bright."

I left the headmaster's office with a small smile on my face.
