Skylar POV
"How come he's not as noisy as the other cubs? He doesn't wail. Of course he cries but he barely made noises, Vlad," I said as I fed Adrian. "Maybe he's just traumatized by the whole event? I don't know. Wanna call Klaus over?" Vlad asked as he set Adrian's blanket and pillows on the bed. A baby needs as much warmth of the parents till at least they're 4 months old. To get them familiar with the parents' scent. Adam still sleeps in his crib near their bed. He was really happy to have Adrian. And the other cubs.
"Yeah. It's best to call him tomorrow," I said as I put the bottle on the table beside the bed and layed him down. Vlad put a pillow each at his side. I lied beside Adrian while stroking his hair and ears. He is a grey wolf, it's nice. And he already have fangs. And he have my brown wavy hair.
"Tomorrow we're going to the Jaguar Paws' to give the 3 cubs to them. And to the Red Taiga's too for their 2 cubs. The rest is done. And we need to name your 2 new cubs and my 2 new vampires. Can't believe one of them was Charles' and another one belonged to Erik! Now they have to take care of two babies!!! The funny part was when one of yours had Maddox's genes! You should have seen his face!" Vlad said giddily.
I chuckled. Yeah, it did turned out like that. We had been going around the places giving the others their rightfully members. We even went to Europe and Asia to give the babies. They knew about the Mohinas and they gladly took the babies after their Emmisaries' consent. Some denied so we took them in. Now we have a total of 1 snow leopard, 1 Fae and two elves. They are twins. The Faes and the elves would not take halfbreeds. They don't believe in the humans' genes.
Vlad told me about the Mohinas. They were already making havoc since hundreds years ago. The others asked Vlad for help to exterminate them. At first he refused since he didn't want to kill anybody. But then the Mohinas burnt a house full of his children, aged from 1-17. Vlad went after them as burnt them. Some managed to escape and disappeared without a trace. He didn't regret it at all. For his children, he'd do anything.
We set up a room in the basement of the house as a playpen. I'm still the alpha though. I still have my responsibilities. At first we alternate the time spent in each houses, but then Vlad decided to join both families and live under the same roof. Everyone agreed and the new house was build. It didn't take long since a lot were working on it. Just a week. I spent a week on bed. I've outdid myself.
That night we slept at our new house together.

The next day we woke up, Adrian wasn't the only baby one the bed. Somehow, the babies just across our bedroom managed to get out of their cribs and climbed over, piling over us, including Adam.
I have the snow leopard under my arm and elves on my legs. Adam was on top of Vlad and the Fae slept snugly under Vlad's arm. Oh my god, this is the cutest puppy pile ever. I chuckled and earned a movement from the elves on my legs. The snow leopard was a heavy sleeper. "Vlad," I whispered. Vlad opened his eyes and realized the situation. "Well I didn't expect to wake up like this," he laughed and the babies woke up in groans. They lifted their heads and looked at us. And continued sleep. I controlled my laughter. They're just too darn cute!
I felt Adrian squirmed beside me. I grabbed the bottle beside me and quickly fed him. First thing in the morning when he woke up, he needs blood. Vlad's blood. Vlad had been pumping lots of blood for the other babies too. The Fae and elves drank his while the snowleopard drank mine. Klaus had been teaching us few things about taking care if Faes and elves. Both of the elves had platinum blond silky hair with pointy ears and nose. Blond hair tells their parents' rank. They're of the royal. But the royals didn't want them. Them fuckers called them tainted blood. The same goes to the Fae. We still haven't named them yet since we were too busy.
I stroked their hair. They nuzzled my hands. Vlad held Adam in one arm and the other in another arm. He got up and put them in Adam's crib. They started to groan. Vlad grabbed two bottle and gave them their breakfast. "Err Vlad? Mind if you help me with the twins and leopard?" I asked. He grabbed the three of them and did the same as the other two.
After Adrian finished his milk, I went off to bathe him and then gave an omega to put clothes on him and take care of him till I'm finished with the other babies. We build the bathroom bigger with a big bathtub, so everyone could fit.

The Jaguar Paws and the Red taiga agreed to take the babies and everything went as smooth as we had expected. We decided to name the snow leopard Benedict, the Fae Darconis and the elves Derek and Darren. They liked it. They were exactly like Adam when he first came in. Adam was nice to make them accustomed to our lifestyles. And Charles were more than happy to cook for more people. Mom get along with Charles really well. Charles named his son Jack and Erik named his son Henri. Well Maddox, that's the funny part about everything. he finally settled in with Maximus since he was his mate and took care of Jason, his son. Surprisingly, none of the babies were females.
"So klaus, what is wrong with my son?" I asked as he checked Adrian. His expression was not of a good one. "Well, everything had a price when one took others' powers. Like the witch, when they took your son's power, she lost her beauty. But your son," klaus sighed. "He lost his voice. He's mute, Skylar. Period," klaus said.
My heart sank. My son is mute. But I sighed in relive. "At least he's not dead, klaus," I said and cooed at Adrian. He giggled. As long as he's alive and healthy.

Vlad's POV
"DARREN!!!! Put your brother down!!! All of them! DEREK! Don't join him or you will be on time out for an hour!" I yelled at Darren who was lifting the others up using his elf power. Darren sulked and put the others down.
Four year passed and they're big now. Skylar graduated and continued his studies in a local college studying mechanics. I grabbed Darren by the ear and put him at a corner. He sniffled as he faced the wall. "I'm sorryy," he begged. "Fake tears doesn't get me. I won't fall for it," I said. He clicked his tongue. Darren had been surprisingly a very naughty boy. He had been bullying his other brothers and sometimes Derek will join. But most of the time Derek just sit back and enjoy.
Darconis was a sweetheart but he didn't know that I know how as naughty he can be. He pulled pranks on everyone and nobody knew. That's how cunning he is. While Benedict was quiet. He had a bigger build than the others but he seemed really quiet. Though, he's quite attached to Skylar. He followed him everywhere and he loved Adrian most. He's the oldest of them all to be honest. Adam would join along with Darconis and the twins while Henri and Jack ad Jason get along with Benedict since they were the same age. The house were hectic as years went by.
A little hand grabbed my pants. I looked down and a happy Adrian smiled at me. Oh my god he's just too cute. I lifted him up and he snuggled against my chest and nuzzled my chin, rubbing his wolf ears against my stubbles and giggled. I scratched the back of his ears and looked like he felt heaven. I gave him a kiss and a nip on the ears. He's more of a wolf then a vampire. The saying that stated that a hybrid is powerful was true. All of his brothers were afraid of him. You do not want to see when he's angry. But when he's happy, I could die in goo.
He may be mute but he managed to express all of his thought. Pretty brilliant for a kid. As expected, he loved Benedict the most, Adam after. I was pretty glad to have all of them around. It's fun. I've forgotten how fun to have kids around. Since the Mohinas took away all of my child, I stopped having kids. I was too traumatized. But not anymore. I'll protect them from any danger out there. And so will the rest of the family. The kids are the next generation of our family.
