Kurt yanked my collar hard and brought me close to his face. His breath reeked of alcohol. His eyes were red and bloodshot. "I missed you." He slurred before sloppily kissing me. He brought me to his room where the rest of the night was spent.

I woke the next morning and watched his sleeping figures chest rise up and down. I shivered and covered my naked figure with the blankets. I wrapped it tightly around me and tried to fall back asleep. Kurt stirred and rolled onto his side and looked at me. I looked down as he began to speak. "Look at me. Hayden look at me." I looked up and my eyes met his. His eyes were half closed and his head must've been killing him. He rubbed his temple and rolled onto his other side. "Get me some aspirin." He said with a yawn.

I slipped out of bed and headed to my closet. He stopped me before I could get my clothes. "No time for clothes hurry up and get me that aspirin!" He snapped.

I hurried out of the room and rubbed my arms up and down my shoulders. It was a bitter cold October morning. I got to the bathroom and grabbed the bottle of aspirin out of the cabinet. I opened the bottle and got out two tablets. I filled up a glass of cold water and brought it back to him. I handed him both tablets and he took them. "Thanks." He muttered holding his head in his hands.

I covered my arms around my chest and rubbed my arms violently. Hoping to create some heat. "Anything else?" I asked.

He shook his head. "No." He looked up at me. His eye brows furrowed together. "Are you cold?" I nodded quickly. "Freezing." He sat up. "Come here." He said motioning towards him.
I climbed in bed beside him and cuddled into his chest. His hand rubbed up and down my arm to keep me warm. He covered us in the blankets and sat beside me quietly. His breathing slowed and he fell asleep.

Kurt wasn't always bad. Sometimes he was like he was when we first met. Sweet and caring. Other times he was a monster. It was hard to tell how he was going to act. The booze played a huge affect on him and it scared me. What if he ends up killing me one day? What would happen then? I try not to think about that, but it happens. I love him even tho he abuses me. It's hard not to when I fell for his other side and I know it's their somewhere inside of him.

I slid out of bed as he slept. I padded over to my closet and grabbed some jeans and a sweater. It was raining outside. I don't mind, I love the rain. And "April showers bring May flowers". I remember when Kurt told me that. We had first met in late April. I was complaining about the rain as I walked to school and an umbrella covered me. "April showers bring May flowers" he said walking beside me. That day I fell for him, and I knew I wouldn't be able to catch myself.

I put my hair in a braid and walked out of the door. The rain fell slowly as I stepped out from under the cover of our front porch. Kurt's house is much bigger compared to mine. He requested I live with him since his parents are never home. I agreed so I could get away from my stepmother. She became my guardian when my real mother died. Her and my father ignore me completely and I hate it. Kurt knows about my struggles at home. He wanted to help me but I wouldn't let him. My family is one that can't be fixed.

The street was now covered with puddles that splashes every time I stepped in one. I wandered around for a bit hoping I would run into Maddy. She is my sister after all but we drifted apart once she found out I was dating Kurt. She's very against it, she doesn't know he's abusing me and I'd like to keep it that way. I can't say her life is perfect either. She got knocked up by Dallas Winston and now they're soon to be married.

I arrived at a small park and sat under a tree. The grass was damp under the tree but not that bad because of the branches blocking out the rain. I fiddled with the sleeves of my sweater and decided to check on my bruises. They were a faded blue and purple color, I pressed down on one slightly and winced in pain.

After sitting for a bit I got back up and walked to the DX. I stepped inside and was met with warmth. The bell jingled as the door shut and two boys my age walked into the room from the garage. One took his place at the counter and the other started to stock the shelves behind the counter. "Can I help you?" The one at the counter asked.

His teeth were crooked and his was extremely complex. A tattoo peaked out form under his sleeve and his shirt was open revealing his bare chest.

"No thanks, I'm just getting aspirin" I said grabbing the bottle off the shelf. He nodded and watched me walk back to the counter. I set the bottle on the counter and he rang me up. "2.75" he said. "It was only 2 dollars last time I bought it?" I questioned. "I know I'm sorry" the boy said. "It's fine, just put it back I don't have enough" I sighed.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "How much do you have?". "2.00" I replied. "That's enough I can pay off the rest."  He said. "Really? Thank you. But I don't even know your name." I said. He laughed, "I'm Steve, and you are?" "Hayden, and thank you I really appreciate it." I smiled back at him.

He nodded and watched me leave. I turned back and smiled once more before walking back home. By the time I got home Kurt was up and moving around. "Where'd you go?" He asked. I turned to him, "I bought more aspirin" I stated showing him the bottle.

He nodded and I walked into the kitchen. I could feel his gaze on me. I put the aspirin in the cabinet and felt arms snake around my waist. He turned me around and faced me towards him. Kurt leaned down and kissed me roughly. Leaning me into the counter behind me. I placed my hands on the counter behind me to keep me steady. I pulled away and breathed heavily. He huffed and kissed my neck. He found my sweet spot causing me to let out a small moan. He smiled triumphantly and kissed under my earlobe. I pushed him off lightly and turned my head hiding my face.  "Please not now" I mumbled.

He groaned and went back to kissing my neck roughly. I squirmed under his touch and tried to him to stop. I moved my head to the side to hide my neck. He growled and released me. His eyes seemed to darken as he stared at me coldly. "Please stop" I pleaded.

He glared at me and gripped onto my hair. He dragged me away from the counter and into the living room and threw me into the floor. "On your knees!" He barked angrily. I got on my knees as he stomped over to me. He grabbed my hair and yanked it back so I was forced to look at him. "Don't you ever go against me! Understand!" He yelled.

I nodded shakily. I looked down at the ground and hid my face. He slapped my hard making me fall to the side. Tears slid down my cheeks as I watched him stalk upstairs to our room. Tonight is gonna be a rough one, I can already tell.
