Heroes Of Olympus Go To School.

Ch.10

Harper POV. 

I do not feel comfortable at all!
I barely met these demigods and I have to live with them. I mean I like the house but I just found out who I am like. . .yesterday! But I'm glad I at least get a nice place to sleep. But after finding out that your dad is the god of the dead, you can't exactly sleep well.

I looked around my room and found a nice little table, a regular size bed, black rug, and a phone. I didn't really mess around with the phone much, I probably will only use it for emergencys only.

I went to bed early so I can wake up early for school. Even though I hate school, I still need to go.

I layed my head down on my pillow and fall asleep.

When I wake up the next morning I hear someone running past the hallway. I looked at my clock 7:30am. School dosnt start till 8:30 so I got dressed into some light blue jeans, and a regular T-shirt and I put a light gray sweater over it. I comb my black, wavy hair. My hair had light gray dyed tips. (I really like the color light gray).

I grabbed the small packpack that came with the room. It came with some books, a few pens, and a little bit of snacks. I walked out of my room to see everyone eating breakfast at the table.

"Hey Harper, want something to eat?" Hazel asked.

"Uh, no thanks", I replied. "I'm just gonna head to school early."

"Oh, then I'll go with you." Piper said quickly.

Uh oh! I thought. The first time I met Piper I could tell she didn't like me, but I still don't know why.

With that she started putting away her food, grabbed her bag, and went to the door.

"Well see y'all there!" Piper told everyone before walking out the door."

"Oo-key then, Ill walk with her I guess." I said before closing the door.

Right when I closed the door Piper's smile faded. I didn't say anything and just kept walking with her next to me.

Finally she said something. . .

"So, what's your deal?" She asked. Not what I was expecting.

"What do mean?" I asked.

"I mean, do like Jason or what?"

"What? No! I bearly know him. And isn't her your boyfriend?" I asked, a little surprised she thought of this.

"Yes! That's why I'm wondering if you like him?" She replied.

"No. I don't like him. I'm not the kind of person who falls in love so easily to people I just meet."

Piper kinda seemed shock. "So why did you save him in the ally?"

"Well wouldn't you save a random person who is in danger?"

Piper didn't say anything for a while. She was probably thinking the whole thing out.

"Gods I feel stupid!" She finally said.

I didn't say anything, completely unsure what to say.

"I'm sorry Harper. I feel like a jerk now."

"It's fine." I said back.

She gave me a small smile and we continued to walk until we reached the school.

"Why do you always look sad?" Piper asked. I really wish she didn't but I didn't ignore her. I guess I need to tell someone.

"Well. . .I guess it's because I've never really got to know people." I replied. "I never had siblings, it was just me and my mom and mom died years ago and I still don't know how she died. I've never even met her parents so I didn't have a place to go for awhile. So I've been living on my own since I was 12."

The look on Piper's face probably ment I shouldn't have told her so much.

"I'm sorry, just forget what I said." I told her.

"No, I'm glad you told me." She said. "I know a lot of demigods go through a tough life like you. Jason, Leo, Frank, and Hazel lost their parents when they were young to."

"Yeah, I'm glad you listened though. I guess I needed someone to talk to."

"It's nothing Harper. I'm glad I can help, now let's get going to our lockers and wait for everyone else."

"Ok let's go." I said smiling. It's been a while since that happened, and it felt good.
