"Elias!" Kai called out to his assistant

"Elias!" Kai called out to his assistant. Kai sat impatiently at his desk, his fingers thrumming a constant beat.

"Yes, Mr. Parker?" Max Henry asked, breathing heavily after running up to his boss's office. "My name is Max, Mr. Parker." Max once again reminded Kai.

"I need you to set up a meeting for me with Mr. Queen." Kai told his assistant. "And Mason, get me a coffee while you're out, I have a feeling that today is going to be a long day."

"Right away, sir."

Kai Parker paced his office, how long can it possible take to contact Queen's office? Kai asked himself. Growing frustrated, Kai quickly dialed a few numbers on the phone sitting next to his computer on his desk, "Maddox, have you reached them?" Kai asked his assistant.

"No sir, they have me on hold..." Max replied from the other end of the phone, at his desk you would be able to see an embarrassed Max slowly sliding farther down into his char, out of sight.

Kai released a displeased huff, "Did you happen to mention my name?" After hearing a meek 'no' (which he doubted any human would be able to hear, but he wasn't human) from the other end, he quickly ordered his assistant to call back, but this time mention his name. Stupid human, his brain is the size of a walnut. Who told me to hire him? Kai thought to himself.

A few moments later, the phone rang, "Parker speaking." Kai answered.

"Mr. Parker, it's me, Oliver Queen, your assistant says you would like to meet for a business proposal?" The voice said on the other end.

"I'm very pleased to see Dimitri is doing his job," Kai replied, which earned him a 'He said his name was Max' from the fellow business owner. "No matter, yes, I'd like to talk about that business proposal that you mentioned the other day. I've thought about the offer you made me, so kindly in front of all of Starling City, and I say: it'd be a shame to waste such a good opportunity."

"That's gr—" Oliver Queen started to say, only to be cut off.

"I'll meet you at three o'clock this afternoon, your turf. See you then." Kai said, leaving no room for Oliver Queen to object. Before Kai hung up, he could hear Oliver tell his assistant to clear his schedule this afternoon.

Kai grinned and thought to himself, the fact that this plan is going so smoothly makes me question how the brain dead Salvatore gang killed me...

Kai stepped out of the car, he slightly turned his head towards the part of the building he assumed would be the CEO's office.
