FIVE [the art of gaining friends]

Kai woke up with a satisfied smile the next morning, what a great night he had. He could still taste the fresh and perfectly aged blood of the unfortunate girl that he drank from in the midst of the chaos at that uptight and obnoxious party he had to attend. The upside was that Arrow knew that Kai would never allow him to find him, he would find Arrow, but only if he wanted. Kai had to admit, playing with Arrow was entertaining. The so called hero would freak when any whiff of Kai's villanious alter ego appeared. Although, Kai thought, aren't I always evil and the villian so that means Chaos is always out in the open. Kai laughed at this, stuck on the thought of how close minded and stupid humans were. Sighing, Kai forced himself out of his comfy bed. He had to get ready to implement the second phase of plan, if he could be so vain to call it--- who was he kidding of course he was so vain--- of his master genius plan. He bragged to himself of how well it was unfolding. If anyone had known of his plan, other than his assistant, they too would agree how well his plan was going.

Phase Two: Start hanging out with Oliver Queen's friends, no matter how boring it will be

It's not like Kai had a problem with Oliver Queen, other than his company was Kai's biggest competition, but we all know Kai didn't give too much of a damn about his company. Kai just wanted to mess with Oliver's life because, as Kai said, something about his face.

The only way Kai knew to gain friends is to buy them. Once Kai walked into his building, he immediatly called for Max, "Jeremy! Please call Mr. Queen and tell him that he and his friends are invited to join my on new yahte.

"Yes sir!" Max said enthusiatically, the younger man quickly ran to the the company phone to make a few phone calls as Kai walked towards his office. Kai called his secretary, "Amanda, would you be a dear and call me when two o'clock strikes?" He recieved a "yes sir" from the other end of the line.

"Mr. Parker," Max practically ran into Kai's office, "they accepted!"

"Thank you John," Kai nodded in a thanks, but suddenly he got an idea, "Greg, how would you like to do me a favor?" At the sound of a random name Max heard, which he learned to associate with himself, he nodded quickly and happily. "Join me and Oliver Queen's friends on my yahte, would you?" Max happily and quickly agreed. "Good, I'll see you at two, now make yourself scarce." Kai demanded. Max obliged to Kai's orders and went to his desk to organize his papers.

Kai sat back in his seat to think through his plan before he had to sit through another boring meeting about his company's finances, which Kai knew was perfectly fine, if not even better than fine. With Max accompanying him to the get together, Kai would seem less threatening and it would seem to be more of people trying to get to know each other.

Oliver was very suprised to hear that Kai Parker had invited him and a few of his close friends to a get together on his yahte. But none the less, Oliver didn't want to seem rude, so he accepted. "Felicity," Oliver called his secretary in, "clear your schedule and mine for everything after two o'clcok. " Felicity nodded slowly, clearly confused but she looked down to the iPad she held and cleared Oliver Queen's schedule. "We were invited to a get together with Kai Parker." Oliver explained.
