You could imagine Kai's annoyance when he saw a bright red streak pass by his office when he was simply trying to enjoy his time. That red streak that blurred by him only meant one thing: The Flash was in town. This was so not according to Kai's plan. The Arrow called reinforcments, Kai sadly could not do the same thing because everyone who could be helpful and was powerful was in Mystic Falls and he hated them and they hated him. But Kai could give himself an upper hand by figuring out where The Flash went. Kai quickly pulled out his phone and called his assistant Max, "Grid, how well can you track dark matter?" The Flash's power came from dark matter since he was a metahuman, and metahuman's leave dark matter traces in their wake. "Very well, Mr. Parker!" Max replied enthusiastically over the other end of the phone. Things have been boring since the other night when Arrow tried to confront Chaos. Max eagerly listened to Kai's instructions to track the dark matter residue. "Let me know as soon as you get a location of where the dark matter ends." Kai ordered before hanging up the phone. Kai had to formulate a plan as soon as possible to make sure that he would be protected from The Flash. Kai may be a hybrid vampire-witch but he certainly isn't faster then The Flash.

Walking to a panel in the wall, Kai scanned his hand and the wall opened to reveal a room that stored some of his grimiores and other things that may be essential in casting a spell. He would have kept everything in this hidden room, but anyone with some sort of functioning brain would know to not keep all their valuables in one place. Kai quickly entered the room and went straight to his family grimiores in search of a spell that could protect him from any harm that could happen to him. After flipping through the spell book at a furious speed, Kai came to a halt at a spell that would do perfectly. The hybrid quickly set up candles and lit them with a wave of his hand. He then took a pocket knife from his pocket and cut a deep gash into the palm of his hand and let the blood fall into a metal bowl that sat in the center of the lit candles. Kai mumbled the spell that was open on the table beside the candles. At the end of the spell, the candles rose higher and higher as the spell became more permanent. A gust of wind spiraled around the room and with one last strong blow of wind, the candles flickered out leaving smoke in its wake and the spell was complete. All Kai needed to do now was wait.

Oliver watched as the red streak came closer and closer to the cabin in the woods that he was currently staying at. Barry had called Oliver for help to beat one of his enemies. Oliver, being the nice friend that he was, agreed and told the speedster to meet him at his old family cabin. Maybe the speedster could help him with his own dilemma he was stuck in too. With a sudden halt and crack of lightening, the speedster stood in front of the archer with a broad smile on his face.

"Oliver! Hey!" Barry Allen greeted enthusiastically. "What is this place?" Barry asked looking around the forest.

"A place where no one can find us. What can we help you with?" Oliver asked as his assistant Felicity Smoak walked through the front door to greet her favorite crime scene investigator.
