Kai decided that he would go with compelling himself a penthouse suite because he still wanted to keep himself off the radar. But he still wanted people to know that Kai Parker was in town. And he knew just how to do that.

Kai paced around the room trying to decide what identity he would assume. A CEO of a powerful fake company (and should he actually create a company)? Kai liked that idea. Power in multiple areas.

Kai planned everything. He would use his compelling ability to reach and climb the social ladder to meet social royals. Then he would build his company from there.

Power in strength and power in the media. Power is what lead Kai into his position six months later.

Kai was currently at an Oliver Queen hosted gala or whatever the hell people called these things these days.

"Mr. Parker!" An enthusiastic reporter yelled over the mumbling of the people at the event. Kai slowly released a huff, sometimes he really hated himself for starting such a successful company but it was necessary to keep his cover. Who would expect such a charitable company's CEO to be the current Starling City villain? No one. "Is it true that Gemini Corp will be launching the very first Electro-DNA splicing?" The report asked, all while shoving a microphone in front of Kai's face. Something that made Kai want to throw the report out the window of the 34 story building. But Kai kept his cool because then his facade would be destroyed.

"Yes it's true. The—" Kai started but was interrupted by another voice.

"The work that Gemini Corp is doing is greatly appreciated and admired by the world. And Queen Consolidated would love to make a formal alliance, for economic reasons, with Gemini Corp." Oliver Queen said with a plastered smile.

"I heard you were smart, but this is sly. Announcing wanting an alliance in front of millions of views, it's almost impossible for me to turn you down." Kai smirked. He thinks that he has the upper hand, Kai thought, but really Kai was ten steps ahead of everyone. "I'll have to think about it." Kai responded. "It was nice to meet you Mr. Oliver Queen."

"The same goes to you Mr. Parker." Oliver responded, holding his hand out for Kai to shake.

"Please, call me Kai if we're are going to be such great business partners." Kai smirks, Oliver Queen could be such a great ally.

"So would that be a yes?" Oliver smiled.

"I believe so. My contacts will be in touch with you Mr. Queen." And with that Kai swiftly walked away.

"Mr. Parker, not much known about him but what everyone does know about him is that he is a growing force, Mr. Queen." Oliver's advisors had brought up before the gala. "It would be best for you to strike an business treaty or alliance." They had advised. And so he did. And Oliver Queen still didn't know what to think of the alliance or of his ally. When Oliver first saw Kai Parker broadcasted on the news channel, there was something familiar about him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
