they spent the rest of the afternoon listening to his music. there wasn't any particular genre, nor any particular singer, but Winter decided that she liked his music.

2 hours passed by in a flash and soon they were leaving.

"see you tomorrow?" he asked again, the same question as the day before.

she gave him a smile. "yep."

he flashed her his own grin. "that's great. see you tomorrow, bench buddy."

"bench buddy?"

his eyes widened a fraction and again, pink tinted his cheeks.

"uh..i never really got your name," he said sheepishly, one hand rubbing the back of his neck.

it never occurred to Winter that they haven't even exchanged names.

"oh!" she squeaked. "it's Winter."

"actually, no, it's summer," he said jokingly, but soon held out his hand.

"nice to meet you, Winter. i'm Leo."

she hesitantly shook his hand. his hand was warm against her clammy hand.

after hearing her brother's whining from all the way across the park, she knew she had to say goodbye.

"see you tomorrow, Leo."

"see ya tomorrow, bench buddy."
