she licked her dry lips.
"start over?" she asked, silently prodding him to explain.
"i know things have been rocky between us. i mean, we have only known each other for a few days...but i have been treating you really bad and don't even deny it."
a gentle smile appeared on Winter's face.
"don't worry, Leo. it's fine, really. and if you want, then yes, let's start over?"
he took her outstretched hand. "hi, my name's Leo."
"hi, Leo. i'm Winter, your bench buddy."
he smirked.
"nice to meet you, bench buddy."

I'm so so so sorry for the really late update!
There's been so much to do for school since exams are nearing and the amount of homework is piling up but it's better late than never, right?
(I'll try my best to update tomorrow as it is Tuesday but it may be delayed to Wednesday.)
