Chapter 10  -  Summer Paradise

     I awoke in my bed and for a moment I couldn’t figure out exactly where I was. Zayn must have carried me inside last night, I thought.

Suddenly I remembered last night in the Hummer, I was on the verge of sleep but I had overheard Harry and Zayn talking. The last words played in my mind. Do you think Jess would come for a sleep over with just us two? Before we... you know...

I couldn’t help but wonder what that you know was, so I called Zayn immediately.

“Hey Zayn!” I greeted him.

“Good morning, why up so early!?” He teased.

“Early!? Hardly... Anyway, I was just wondering what you and Harry were talking about last night.. I was half asleep but I’m sure you guys said something, about me, a sleepover and something about before we... you know?” I urged.

Zayn was quiet for a moment and finally managed to say “Jess, we’re going on tour... We were gonna have a sleep over before we left. We leave in two days.”

“How long?” I asked with a tear streaming down my cheek.

“Two months” Zayn replied.

I started sobbing and burst into tears.

“Ok, Jess, I’m coming over now, love you” Zayn said before hanging up.

I flopped onto my bed and stuffed my face into my pillow. Zayn couldn’t leave, not now that we’ve started our relationship...

     I couldn’t stop myself from crying, no matter what. I jumped up and ran downstairs as soon as I heard a car door slam. I opened the door to see all the boys and Georgia. That’s why it had taken so long...

“Hi guys” I managed to say in between sobs.

“JESS!” Louis yelled running up and hugging me.

We all retreated inside and sat around my lounge room. I was sitting on Zayn’s lap on the couch, Liam by my side. On the next couch there was Harry, Georgia and Louis and Niall was sitting on the single recliner.

“Jess... and Georgia. Sorry we’re leaving, but it’s our job and we really do enjoy it” Niall said.

“Not that we don’t enjoy spending time with you two!” Liam added.

“Of course” Niall confirmed.

I finally managed to pull myself together after a couple minutes. Zayn rubbed my back with small, soothing circles.

“I know; it’s just that I have enjoyed spending my summer with you guys... A lot and now I have to go back to school. For a whole ten weeks. TEN weeks!” I blurted out.

“Oh Jess, I know I certainly have enjoyed these holidays! And I’m sure all the others have too, right guys?” Zayn reassured me.

“YES!” everyone yelled out.
