A/N: I'm back binch. Sorry it's been so long, I've been busy with life and medical crap.

Arriving to MACUSA the next day was a little nerve-wracking, to say the least. Work wasn't what was making me nervous, but meeting Credence at lunch was what was making me feel butterflies in my stomach.

'Calm down Y/N,' I thought to myself. 'It's just the son of a woman who wants to eliminate all of wizard-kind, there's nothing to worry about.' Okay, maybe the pep talk wasn't helping. I rub my temples and head down to the elevator to get to the Wand Permit Department.

As I enter the elevator, I take a deep breath to calm myself down. "Wand Permit Department, please." I tell Red, the house elf who works the elevator.

"Got it." He mutters and pulls the lever that sends the elevator down. "What's up with you today? You're all jittery." He looks up at me with a smirk.

"Oh, nothing. Just meeting up with someone on my lunch break." I reply, with a pink tinge spreading across my cheeks.

"Nothing, eh? Sure doesn't seem like nothing." He looks down and smirks again.

"Okay, so it might be a date. I don't know." I mutter, not making eye contact with the elf.

"Ah, I knew it. Miss Goldstein was talkin' to herself about you and some boy going out."

"S-She was?" I ask.

"Yeah, but that's all I got before she left." Red says before pulling the lever.
"Wand Permit Department, here we are."

I thank Red and walk over to my desk where Tina was already waiting with two cups of coffee in her hands.

"So," Tina says while taking a sip of her drink. "Today's the big day, huh? The day you're meeting up with Credence again?" She asks while handing me the other cup.

"Thanks." I mutter and take a sip. "Yeah, today's the day. I'm going to the meeting on my lunch break, and hopefully we can sneak away to a café nearby without Mary Lou noticing. Poor guy looks like he hasn't eaten in days." I cringe at the thought that that could be true.

"I'm happy for you Y/N." Tina says with a smile. "But you need to be careful around her. You don't know what she's capable of."

"Please, she's a No-Maj." I huff. "What's the worst thing she can do?"

-------------------------------------------

I arrived at the meeting during my lunch break. There was a bigger crowd then there was last time, but I spotted Credence almost immediately. He was standing in the middle of the crowd, so it would have been harder for Mary Lou to see us talk.

"Hi again Credence!" I say, quiet enough so he could hear, but she couldn't.

"Y-You came?" He whispered with a shocked tone in his voice.

"Of course I did. When I make promises, I like to keep them." I say, smiling at the boy.

He looks up with a shocked expression.

"Really?" He asks.

"Of course! That's what friends do right? They keep promises."

"Anyways, would you like to sneak away for a little bit and grab something to drink with me?' I ask, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
