It's been 8 years since the incident with Lucifer and Kali at the Elysian Fields Hotel. 8 years since I saw the love of my life sacrifice himself to stop the apocalypse. Ever since that day, I couldn't get myself to go on another hunt. It hurt too much. I would still see Gabriel by my side, taking out demons left and right.

So I moved away from the only life I knew. I started a new life, got a new name, and a completely different identity. I still keep in contact with the Winchesters after I left them and the bunker. They saved me from a Djinn so I feel like I owe them my life. We haven't talked for a while, from what I've heard they've been busy trying to rescue their mom and a boy named Jack from an Apocalypse World.

I've never been the same. Everything I did reminded me of him. Haven't stepped inside a candy store since, it used to be his favorite place to go on dates. Every time Sam and Dean went on a hunt they didn't want me to go on, Gabe came over and would take me.

It's been 8 years, and I'm now just getting over the fact that I'll never see him again. It's been tough, but I just try to think of all the fun we had together.

It started off as a typical day for me, made myself a cup of coffee and blasted music from my phone in my kitchen while I made breakfast. The music started getting quieter, signifying that I was receiving a phone call. I looked at the collar id and half-smiled. It was Sam.

I sighed and picked up the ringing phone. "Hey Sam! How's it going?" I ask, faking a happy tone.

"Hey Bella, how have you been? Dean and I may need your help with something, you're better at First Aid than we are." Sam sighs, sounding very distressed.

"Why don't you just go to the ER? Scared that they'll find out about Dean's tax fraud?" I joke.

"It's not us. Someone we knew showed up and they need a lot of help." Sam pleads. "Please, can you come over?"

"I'll be there in about 30 minutes."

I finally made it to the Bunker. As I stepped inside, I breathed in the familiar scent, remembering the days when I used to live here.

"Sam? Dean?" I call out into the seemingly empty bunker.

Sam rushes in from the hall and brings me in for a tight hug. "Oh thank God you finally made it."

"Not gonna lie, it does feel good to be back." I chuckle into his shoulder.

"Now, who did you say needed help?" I ask, concerned with how worried he sounded over the phone.

"Follow me," He answers. "He's in your old bedroom."

We walk down the long corridors, and I take everything in again.

"So what happened?" I ask.

"Well, it's kinda hard to explain, but the guy I've been telling you about, Ketch, brought us someone Asmodeus has had trapped in hell for years in exchange for going into the Apocalypse World with Dean." Sam summarizes.

"Wait, Dean already left?" I ask, confused.

"Yeah, him and Ketch wanted to get Mom and Jack home as quickly as they could. They only have 24 hours."

We stop in front of a door to a room. My room. A wave of nostalgia hits me, and Sam opens the door.

Sitting on the chair in the corner is Castiel, looking very stressed with his head in his hands. And sitting on the bed next to Cas is him. The one I've been mourning for 8 years. The one who I gave up the only life I knew because horrible thoughts of him perishing haunted my mind.

My eyes widen and all color drains from my face.

"G-Gabriel?" My voice cracks, barely above a whisper.

Gabriel looks over at me, eyes widening in shock. A tear runs down my cheek as I look at what Asmodeus has done to him. He's bruised horribly, with blood caked all other his body. His mouth is sewn shut very sloppily.

My body racks with sobs as I approach him slowly, careful not to frighten him.

"A-Are you real? Is this happening?" I look up at him, tears pooling in my eyes, threatening to escape again.

He shakily puts his hands on my cheeks, and I lean into them. I chuckle sadly, realizing that this is reality. He really is still alive. But who knows what Asmodeus did to him.

He starts sobbing and pulls me in to a tight embrace, crying into my shoulder. I hug him just as hard, rubbing his back.

"Shh, it's okay Gabe. I'm here." I cry. "And I'm never leaving you again."
