Not a master but something new

This book is coming to an end

Jungkook wakes up with a feeling of being choked, but in a good way. The only thing he sees when he opens his eyes that morning are two black cat ears, laid down upon brown hair. His chest is being hugged tightly by a pair of arms and his legs are tangled with someone else's legs.

"Taehyung?", he asks, trying to wriggle out of the grip but the hybrid also has his arms closed around Jungkook's strong arms. The older really likes the warm feeling the boy gives him but it's already 8 am and his editor really expects him to join a meeting at 9.

"Taehyung? Kitten, we need to get up", he whispers into the black ear which twitches from the warm breath.

The hybrid groans softly against his chest, wiggling around a bit before looking up with doe eyes at the older. "But I'm comfortable", he whines, tightening his grip around Jungkook's toned chest, eyes widening when he feels the muscles.

Jungkook wonders when Taehyung became so clingy. Literally a day ago the boy didn't want to sleep in a bed if the older was there with him but now he's clinging onto Jungkook like he could disappear all of a sudden. He doesn't mind though, but he is a little worried.

"I have a meeting at 9", Jungkook explains, patting the hybrid's thigh, "So I should really get up if I want to be there on time".

"You're leaving?"

Jungkook feels Taehyung tense against his body, his fists gripping the material of the older's shirt tightly, fingers digging into his skin. The tone of Taehyung's voice worries the older even more, sounding so soft but also desperate.

"Tae?", he places his hands over the hybrid's clenched fists, "You know I'll be back right? I would never leave you".

Taehyung moves all of a sudden, climbing on top of the older with legs on either side of his stomach. He put his arms on top of Jungkook's chest, a cute pout evident on his lips.

"You promise?", he almost whispers, fragile voice softening Jungkook's eyes.

"I promise", the older smiles, pecking the younger's nose to calm him down. The hybrid's tail curls around Jungkook's leg, wanting him to stay.

"I'll be back around 12 so you can go back to sleep if you want", Jungkook places his hands on Taehyung's hips, sliding him off him so he could lie back down.

"Okay", Taehyung mumbles, closing his eyes once he has his face pushed into Jungkook's pillow to drown into the familiar scent. Jungkook smiles at the adorable sight and kisses the top of Taehyung head one last time and departs for his meeting.

"You're home!"

Jungkook practically gets knocked over once he opens the door to his apartment. A full grown boy with tail jumps on him, immediately clinging onto him like a koala. The said boy smiles a full box smile which shows all his teeth but his eyes glisten making the older frown.

"Were you crying?", he asked, his thumb tracing the tracks where tears rolled.

"I just missed you", Taehyung sniffs, burying his face into Jungkook's crook whose heart swells at the words.

He knows Taehyung is in a vulnerable state right now and is desperately clinging onto someone to stay, worried Jungkook will leave him like his previous master did.

"I promised you I was coming back, didn't I?", Jungkook ruffles the younger's hair who leans into the touch. The boy nods against his shoulder and slumps against it, loving being carried by the other. Jungkook brings the other to the couch and lays him down, noticing how tired the hybrid is from crying. He crawls after Taehyung and hugs him tight in his arms so the hybrid can sleep on his chest.

"Master?", Taehyung mumbles, unaware of the tensing of other's body.

"I told you not to call me that kitten", Jungkook smiles, caressing the younger's sleepy face.

"What should I call you then?", Taehyung asks softly, opening one eye to stare at the handsome man in front of him, taking care of him in such a loving way it confuses him.

"What about boyfriend?", Jungkook bites his lip, feeling a surge of confidence rush through him once he sees the hybrid's blushing cheeks.

Taehyung snuggles further into the older's chest, mumbling a soft, "Mkay boyfriend".

And Jungkook swears his heart burst from just hearing that word being uttered by his adorable hybrid now boyfriend.
