When the whole fireworks fiasco died down, everyone tried to figure out sleeping arrangements. Most of the ninja had actually gone home to avoid this discussion which left the girls and a couple others.

There was an Inn near the BBQ restaurant but the fact that all six girls were going to stay there without a reservation and the fact there they'll need three rooms (two to each) was a little troubling.

Shikamaru, Kiba, and Naruto accompanied them to the Inn when they all barged in. The woman at the desk jolted awake, eyeing them with irritation already, which only increased when Zoe leaned her arm against the desk.

"We need three rooms." Zoe said simply. The woman there, who had thick glasses and a very bored look on her face, sighed deeply and tiredly. She flipped through the book on her desk slowly trying to find three free rooms.

"Well, we only have two rooms at the moment..." She murmured to them all. She was beyond tired hence the bags under her eyes became visible if you looked long enough.

"What? But we need three. Two of us to each room." Ryme said stepping forward. "Three of us isn't going to work because one of us is going to be on the floor."

"I'm sorry miss but we only have two room available at the moment. The soonest we'll have a room free will be tomorrow morning at nine o'clock." She retorted, irritation seeping into her voice. Ryme scowled at the woman and she merely shot back a cold glare.

"But-"

"If you're going to cause a disturbance then I'm going to ask you to leave." She hissed at them and Ryme shut her mouth. The last thing the six of them wanted was to sleep out on the streets.

"If it's that much trouble to get three rooms, I could always ask Hana if Kate could use her spare room." Kiba offered nudging Kate in the shoulder.

"And I'm sure Shikamaru wouldn't mind having Zoe over at his house. Shikaku probably wouldn't mind." Kiba shot Shikamaru a smug look and he sighed deeply.

"It's not my father that I'm worried about. It's my mother." Shikamaru scratched the back of his head and closed his eyes. "But I guess that would drop it down to two so we might as well go with it because I know for a fact that Lord Danzō wouldn't allow Leah in the Root and that Kai wouldn't want to set foot in the Aburame Clan grounds. Ryme also can't travel to Sunagakure, let alone make it before sunrise."

The sleeping arrangements were made quickly and Ryme, Lily, Kai, and Leah all received a change of clothes for the next day.

The split off into the two joining rooms and went to sleep immediately, partially because it was an eventful day and partially because they ached all over from training.

In the darkness of night, the full moon glistened brightly. Two girls slept soundly in their hotel room...
