I sat at the bar, twirling my finger around the circumference of the top of my glass. Things were so different. I feel so alone...

"Valdez." I never recognized voices anymore, but looked up,"Special delivery." A letter was placed in front of me on the counter.

I clicked my tongue on my teeth and looked at the stranger. "Thanks." I grabbed the letter and opened it, my stomach dropped. But before I could look up and ask any questions to the stranger, he was already gone.

"Hey Babe,

How are you? I hope you're doing okay..."

Afterward the words started to get blurry. I wasn't sure why until I realized I was shaking. "Sunshine..." I muttered softly, quickly wiping the tears falling on my cheeks. I checked the letter for any sort of return address but there was nothing there. I swallowed the big lump in m'y throat and kept reading.

"I don't want you to freak out. I'm doing okay, I don't need you to save me. I know it's been a long time since we last had contact, you don't have to worry though. I can't specifically tell you where I am, but I need you to move on, please? It's what's best for both of us, I want you to help yourself. It seems though the Gods never get off my back, especially Zeus. He's always so power hungry and controlling people." I blinked a couple times trying to make sure the older words were coming out correctly. Maybe the printer was just being weird but...

"I hope you don't feel like your life turned bad..." I stared back at my glass, still half full and suddenly felt sick.

I remember it like yesterday. It felt like I was just holding her in my arms, we were in bed. The next morning she was gone, I couldn't call her, I couldn't find her. But I never stopped looking, I never stopped... Until it seemed like I looked everywhere. No note, nothing. Eventually thoughts started to fill my head, that she didn't love me, or she just didn't want anything to do with me anymore. But that's not her. That's not my sunshine.

"Did you ever open up the shop after I left? I hope it's really successful. Don't try to find me. I won't do you any good.

Maybe we'll see each other again.

I love you, Calypso"

I grabbed my coat off the counter and pushed the door open breathing heavily. The letter felt like a hundred pounds in my hand. I looked at it again and sat down against the beat up building. I mumbled to myself the bolded words,"Zeus... controlling people..." I rubbed my eyes and looked out in front of me. I covered them with my forearm as a car light flashed into my eyes. I narrowed my eyes as a shadow walked in front of me.

Before I knew it, a bag was over my head and I was thrown into the back of a van. My wrists tied up with fire proof rope. "What do you want from me?!" My voice came out coarse and desperate as I sat up , not exactly a great impression.

"The titans have waited a very very long time for this. You're just the perfect little boy for the job!" A womanly voice laughed and I felt a deadly cold hand rest on the side of my cheek. She straddled my lap and took off the bag on my head. "You'll help us, won't you? Those kids in camp half blood and Jupiter are just so pesky... We need someone that could get into the inside for us."

Her eyes peered into mine and something felt off. "Do you know where Calypso is?" I clenched my jaw and felt my throat start to close up.

"You could have her and anything you want. You just have to do one thing." She smirked and ran her finger along the line of my jaw. Her ridiculously sharp nail cutting a small slit letting out some of my blood onto her finger. I didn't flinch. "We need you to kill every child of Zeus, even those who haven't been claimed yet." She stated simply.
