PERCY
"Piper..."
"Why did you do it..." She looked up at me confused, scared, and a hint of desperateness, I guess she's hoping it's some mistake.
They all do.
I sighed, this question repeating over and over in my mind. Why did you do it Percy..."I can't even remember why, I just remember holding a sword to my fathers throat, and feeling so strong to the point of no control." She stayed silent for a few moments.
"Maybe.. Maybe this is a big mistake or something. You would never do that, maybe you were like under a spell. Like how Jason is now. I know you Percy this isn't you."
"It's been a long time Piper...people change."
"No. Not you. I won't believe what anyone says about you until they can prove it."
"You were always stubborn like that." I smiled slightly at her as she smiled back. I'm thankful for her right now.
"Sup Pipes." Leo came through the darkness with a sword in his hand examining it closely.
"Leo what are you doing here?! How did you even get in? And why do you look so nonchalant."
"Oooh big word."
"He's under the spell too Piper.." I told her softly, I can't imagine how she must feel knowing that both, her bestfriend and husband, are under a terrible trance.
"Leo..." She said softly tears filling her eyes.
"Hey hey now, don't cry too much. Get to close to that lightning the lightning will travel into the tear and sting you." He smirked and looked at me. I really hope I won't have to hurt him..
He waved his hand and my restraints were released, Leo grabbed my collar and threw me onto the floor,"How does it feel pool boy huh?" I was disoriented, the floor his my head roughly and I was struggling to stand. A burning sensation felt close to the back of my neck.
Much too close for comfort.
"Don't get excited now. This is a special sword here, the heat I produce through the handle and heats the blade to an excruciatingly painful degree of heat. Would you like to feel?"
Gods no...no no please...
I looked to the side him kneeling down and pressing the heated blade to my back.
I screamed out in pain, my yell echoing wherever we were. I didn't care at the moment.
"Percy!" Piper yelled loudly over my pain, she was worried. I didn't want her to watch.
"Piper..." I wheezed in a breathe and held back tears of pain,"Piper..look away...look away please.." I closed my eyes shut and felt another stinging burn to my back yelling louder than I thought possible.
At least she didn't have to watch..
~ somewhere in Chicago ~
"Okay...okay this is totally normal Matt don't even freak out okay?"
"Darren if you haven't noticed Kari is ON FIRE AT THE MOMENT!" I yelled at my friend who seemed absolutely calm.
"Guys I'm fine, it doesn't hurt remember? C'mon Matt just breathe." Well I'm sorry I'm not used to people being on fire...god.
JC came through the door breathing heavily,"Sorry...sorry I was....phew give me a second..." She breathed heavily and gestured her hand to the bathroom sink soaking Kari in water. "I missed the train." She leaned against the door frame and sat on the floor.
