Chapter 5- Keep Wound
"Look mummy!! A Cuckoo Clock!! Can I please have it mummy? It is ever so pretty and would go well with my new room design." An excited little girl exclaimed.
"Certainly my dear." The Mother of the girl said as she looked down from the Clock on the wall of the shop at which the little girl had pointed to the shopkeeper and asked the shop keeper whether she could have it and how much it was. The man gave her the information which the pretty Alien woman had so kindly asked for. Before they left the shop the shopkeeper warned the Alien Mother and Daughter couple about something, "This is a very special Cuckoo Clock madam.", he said, "The Cuckoo might be a bit scared at first and the look on its face is a terrified one but that is how the Cuckoo is meant to look. Do not be alarmed by it. But what I beg of you not to forget is this: Do NOT forget to keep it wound."
"We shan't. Thank you so much."
They exited the shop, quite content with their purchase...
