Chapter 13.2

To the Waterfall

With a final kiss, a shooting star flew by and their wishes already came true.

This is the beginning.

The girls walk out behind the school and yell and catcall away. Lauren and Camila turn around and find them coming to them.

"How long have you guys been staning there?" Lauren asks and they giggle and smirk, "Not long," Normani winks and Lauren rolls her eyes in a playful way and Camila smiles.

"Hey, Ally can I borrow your car?" Lauren asks.

"Yeah sure, and--"

"Don't worry I'll come back, I promise, it won't be long," Lauren smiles and Ally knows that she trusts her alpha, she was just making sure since Camila came into her life and everything changed, "Alright, be back before the dance is over."

Lauren grabs Ally's keys from her hand and with her right hand, holding onto Camila as they walk towards her car.

"Where do you think they're going?" Dinah asks.

"I don't know," Ally smiles. Ally knows exactly where Lauren's going. She didn't want any of the girls finding out Lauren's secret place. She wanted to keep that promise since they first met. It's her place where Lauren can breathe and have no problems.

"Alright, well let's go dance guys!" Zendaya says.

"Wooooo!" Becky yells and the girls laugh and walk back inside.

The drive was quiet, a good one. The radio volume was low and they both were interlocking hands. With it being a cold season now, it made Camila very warm by Lauren's touch.

Camila started to remember the the road she was taking and sees the trail on the side, going into the woods, and she knew where they were at.

Lauren drives the car on the side and parks it, "Okay, were here.

Lauren takes off her shoes and stretches out and Camila takes hers off as well. Lauren gets out of the car and opens Camila's door, "Thanks Lo," and kisses her cheek and Lauren smiles and they walk towards the old trail.

They arrived at the waterfall and the rest of the woods is dark but when you look up you see all the stars and the beautiful full moon. The sound of the waterfall, no worries, no troubles, just nature.

"Why'd you wanna come here Lauren?"

"I thought maybe, we could get away and watch the waterfall and look at the stars, but mostly I just wanted to be with you and here... it makes it even more perfect," Lauren smiles and Camila leans in for a passionate kiss, and so they did.

Their foreheads touching, hearing the nice quiet waterfall, the crickets chirping; it was peaceful.

Camila backed away and looked up at the bright night sky. She sighed and thought how beautiful the earth can be created and knowing what's on the other side.

She loved how the stars were always together, never apart and the moon was something that called to her every night. Never afraid of it, maybe wanting to ask questions. The moon was apart of the darkness because without it, stars won't shine. The sun rises the soul with happiness and pure, also living. Why? The moon.

"Lauren?" Camila asks while looking at the stars.

"Hm?"

"Promise me, no matter what happens... don't let go," Camila says then looking at Lauren in the eyes and the moon lighting up both of them, you can see the pure in their eyes, and Lauren without pushing Camila's question, she simply says, "I promise."

And with that, they cuddle close and hold each other. No lust, no hunger; just love and care.
