Chapter Nine

I chug the alcohol as it burns my throat, but I didn't care. My arm was in the air as I dance around the room. Hands suddenly grab my waist as I stop to see Elijah in my view.

"Hi" I smile as he takes the drink from me, having a sip. He drops the glass, biting his bottom lip as his hand returns to my waist, moving slowly as if we were dancing to slow music though rock music was playing.

"You're so beautiful..." He whispers.

"And you're really fucking hot" I kiss him harshly. I pull away looking over to a compelled student as my fingers run over his mouth. I speed away from him, attacking the girls neck. I get pulled away from her as I turn to see Elijah looking down at me.

"You're going to kill her if you keep going" He mutters as I stare up at him. I kiss him once again as he pulls me close. I jump up, wrapping my legs around his torso as he speeds us against a wall. My hands move around his face as my mouth opens wide, allowing his tongue to have access. His body slams against mine again as my back collides with the wall. His mouth attacks my neck, as my mouth opens. I let out a groan as I slam my head against the wall. He pushes his pelvis against mine as I bite my bottom lip. His tongue moves up my neck before his mouth connects to my mouth again. My hand moves down to his pants trying to undo his pants. He pulls away staring at me in the eyes.

"Date me" He whispers biting my bottom lip.

"What?" I whisper too.

"I've never met someone like you Ana. I need to be with you" He begs me as I stare at him confused as to why he would say that. I stare into his dark eyes, wanting to kiss him again. Why did he have to wear his hot, tight, dark grey button up shirt... and his black slacks; he looks so cute in them.

"I can't drag you down with me Elijah"

"I can't drag you down with me Benjamin" I say to him tears rushing down my face.

"Please Miss Salvatore. I will do anything for you!" Benjamin says to me moving his long hair out of his face.

"You are a blacksmith! I am the daughter of a Salvatore! You will be beaten, probably killed! I can't let that happen to you!" I cry to him.

"Please Anastasia! I love you!" He begs holding me close as I cry into his chest.

"You are the only one who understands me! I don't want to marry someone who I don't know. You loved me when my own father wouldn't. You've always been there for me. And now, you might die because of me" I cry loudly as he holds me tightly.

"I promise no matter what will happen, I will always love you. Let me be the only one to touch you, like this.... And kiss you like this" He whispers lightly touching my cheek before kissing me on the lips.

"This way!" I could hear people yelling as I stare at Benjamin frightfully. I grab his face, kissing him passionately.

"Get him!" The voice yell as he's stripped away from me. Arms grab me from behind as I cry out for Benjamin.

"Stop! Don't do this!" I beg him as I see my father come into view, looking disgusted with me.

"Put him to the noose!" My father shouts as I begin to scream.

"No! Please no!" I continue to beg him.

"The next time you think you can love whoever you want, just remember this day" My father spits before walking away, having my body fall to the ground, crying loudly.

"...I... I can't drag you down with me Elijah..." I whisper again, his face shifting from a blurriness to crystal clear.

"I need to go" I stare at him feeling drained. He lets me go as I speed home, slamming myself against the front door of my home. I open the door, almost falling inside. Why do I feel so weak?

"Ana?" I hear Stefan say as he walks out from another room. I stare at him shaking my head. I move past him, going upstairs and slamming my bedroom door shut. I lie on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Time felt like it was frozen... though I knew hours had past. Why does it have to be so hard? All I want to do is live like I have for my whole life. Not giving a shit about anything. Not even myself.
