Arrietty: Returning to you

"Come on Shawn! I have so much to show you!" She grabs my arm and runs with me straight forward. Mike sighs and shakes his head, then he follows us from behind. After a while of running, she turns around and covers my eyes, then she helps lead me to a "surprise", I'm guessing it is? "Okay, ready?" "Yep" "Let me introduce you to---" she uncovers my eyes, "my new house!" My jaw drops. It was a beautiful looking house! In fact, it was a dollhouse! And it looked like the one in my bedroom! Except a little more advanced. "Arrietty, how did you find this?" She smiled brightly at me. "Well, one of your neighbors from way down the block happen to have this dollhouse for thier new little one, but after discovering that it was a boy, they abandoned all the way out here. I don't know why they didn't donate it something, but thankfully, we have this house!" "Wow" "it took us a year to travel and find a new home, but after we saw the lady leave it here and leave with her husband, my parents had to test the house out first to see if it's suitable to live in, which took two to three days, and then we called some near by borrowers that build and construct stuff out of stuff they borrowed from humans, which are the Constructor Borrowers, to help fix, rearrange, and build our house the way we want, and that took a couple of months." "Yikes! That's a lot!" "I know, moving for us borrowers isn't an easy thing, unlike you humans that it's a little faster and easier because you're big enough to cope with this huge world, because we're like tiny ants, things are a lot harder and slower for us, since the world we live in is too big for us to catch up with, you know?" Man.....being such a small person in this world ain't easy, now is it? With all the things her and her people suffer, it makes me feel extra terrible for them every time I hear news such as this. At least it all worked out for her though, she seemed to get over it, but I still worry for her. "Arrietty...." "Hm?" She turns and looks at me. "I know you seem okay with all this, but, how are you able to stay strong through stuff like this?" Arrietty then
Looks away, down at her self, smiling at herself sadly. "It's not easy...." "Uh?"
Then her smile becomes even sadder, "You see.....my people have been hunted down and abused for many years by huger creatures and the "humans", you're people, and knowing how many never return and how many oh so survive breaks my heart...." then she turned to look at me with her eyes closed, still keeping her sad smile. "My family was one of the lucky ones, as well as Spiller......look what happen with my mother for example......your maid kidnapped her and if it wasn't for you, she would of been died by now......I'm very grateful for that.....Thank.....you......" then she cries terribly and falls on me to hug me and I hug her back as her pain transfers to me. I feel her pain. I know how upset she is. Then she got back up and wiped her tears. "Thank you so much...." she smiled sweetly. Then somebody came rushing through the doors from her house. "Arrietty! Come inside! You've been out there quite enough" we both turn around and see it's her mother. She had her usual clothes on, the only difference was she looked kinda older and she wore a flower necklace. "Mom, I know I was out a little longer than I promised to be, but---" "But nothing young lady, I want our family here, safe and sound, besides, Dinner is ready---" then she looks over at me and her eyes widen, "W-Who's that Arrietty?" Then Arrietty sighs and says while kicking her legs up and down, "Mother, relax, this is just my good friend Shawn, remember?"
"S-S-Shawn? B-B-But that guy was a huge h-h-human! And this g-g-guy
is---" then after she stopped stuttering and tried to remember, a memory of when she saw me appeared. After Arrietty took her out of the Jar and saved her, she looked at me and got frightened, then that's when she introduced me. Then her mother looks at me scard as I stand up and walk to her. "Greetings Mrs. Clock, it's a pleasure to meet you again," I respectfully bow, and then stand up again, "May I please stay over for dinner, if you don't mind?" Then her nervous smile, turns into a happy smile as she runs up to me and hugs me, "Ohh.....God bless your heart for being the only human with sense and the heart to care for us. Thank you so much for saving my family, as gratitude and thanks for everything you did, we'll do more than let you stay over for dinner," then she grabbed both my hand and Arrietty's and ran inside with the both of us.  "Oh honey~~~" she called as Arrietty's dad looked behind and said, "What?" All Mrs. Clock did was smile brightly now, "It's him, he's here!" "Who? Spiller?" "No! That human boy!" "Human boy!? You mean that kid that endangered you and---" "Honey! That was his maid, Arrietty explained the whole story to me..." then she turned to smile at me, "the poor lad saved me from her, and I'm very grateful, thank you..." "your welcome..." then I walk over to Mr. Clock. "Hello Mr. Clock, it's a pleasure to finally meet you...." "Hmm....." he looked at me really good, then gave me a dirty look.
"Tsk, you may have saved my wife, but how can I still trust you? Humans are bad! They've always been!" "Well," I start to speak up, "not all, there are those few people in the whole that care about creatures like you guy---" "Oh yeah? Who?" he interrupts. "My Aunt!" I shout. Then everything goes silent.
"My Aunt.......and me.......She's known about you guys since she was a little human girl herself and growing up, she's always wished to see and help you guys, just like me...." then everyone becomes sad as I continue on, "furthermore, that's the same reason why she fired my maid Haru! And primary to the four years that went by after that incident with you guys, I discovered I'm not the only one falling ill in the house." Everyone gasps as Arrietty's mother looks like this will break her heart soon.
"My Aunt, because of her old age, is falling ill......I don't know what it really is, but it's made her cough like crazy all of a sudden.....I'm afraid for her now.....I don't want to be left alone again...." "again?"
