Arrietty: Returning to you

Gather around Reunion:

Everyone stares shocked at me. "What do you mean 'again'?" Arrietty asked concern. Then, next thing I know, a tear slips down my eye, "At a very young age, before seven maybe, is when my parents became too busy to take care of me, so I was left alone for a while, until a year later, they handed me to my Aunt Jessica. And that's where I moved with my Aunt to that abandoned house. At the time, I was seven, but six years later is when I met Arrietty at thirteen." I explained. Then Arrietty comes as the first person to hug me tightly and comforts me. "I'm so sorry Shawn..." then the mother cries, "me too!" And joins the hug. After a while of hugging, then I feel the father come join. "You know......I may not like humans too much, neither trust them, but I respect those few kindhearted people like you.....especially if your alone....." then my eyes go wide and heart breaks into a million pieces when he says, "every good people needs a family, and needs a strong-willed, but loving father, and if yours can't pay no mind to you, then I will." I couldn't help it........I cried my eyes out and hugged him tightly as the whole family bundled with me in this sad moment. Then they finally let go and Mrs. Clock said, "Let's throw a party for you my dear! In fact, let's show him to the village!" "Village?" I ask. What village? I know Mike mentioned something about more borrowers but, where are they here? "Come, follow me!" Arrietty shouted excited as she grabbed my hand and took me to where it was. Then Mike was behind us, trying to push himself and his wings to catch up, even though we were still slightly faster. "Hey.....You guys know, you forgot me!" Mike reminded upsetly.
"Sorry Mike, just follow us!" I said. From how fast we were running and how long it took, something told me it was pretty far, not too far, but still. Then she suddenly stops and and I almost crash on the ground, but catch my balance before I do. "Welcome to the village!" She smiled as she waved her hand right and I turned around to look. I couldn't believe it. There was a whole village of them here! Then all of them looked at me as Arrietty walked up, "Everyone, I'll like to introduce you to---" "Your fiancé!?" Then Arrietty gave them a funny, "no" face and everyone immediately knew that it wasn't that. Then I heard Mike trying to keep his laughter in and elbow nudged to stop it before she hears him. "Mike, cut it out!" "Sorry" and then he tried his best to look like he was smiling regularly instead of goofy-like. He knows he's not doing a good job at it though. And I do too obviously. Then Arrietty starts to speak again, "Everyone, this is Shawn, the boy who I told you saved me and my family!" Then everyone jumps and cheers as a whole crowd comes running up to him. "Oh, thank you so much Shawn!" One said. "Bless your heart for being the only human with kindness and sense..." another said. "How did you become so small? I thought humans were way bigger?" A third one asked. Then after a while of crowding me and saying what they need to say, I say, "Okay everyone, I need some space" and so, they give it to me! They actually back away a little and keep smiling! Back at home, when my maid Haru was around of course, I almost never got privacy! Maybe to the bathroom, but still! She was like my prison gaurd or something by the way she would look at me, watch me, and follow me around. Thank goodness she doesn't at school. Then after a while of explaining the whole story all over again, from the wishing star, to the village now, everyone watched and listened with amaze at every major event. When I got to the Honey borrowing part, a child laughed and said, "Poor Bee, but he should know that we borrowers take stuff for survival..." then Mike get mad and clenches his left fist while saying, "How should I know? You little thieves have been doing it so long, even I forget when to keep track of you guys!" he mumbled. Then after finishing up the story, another child said, "Well, I guess that means your a borrower like us then!" I went completely shocked. Me? A borrower? I never really thought of it that way but, I guess I am, am I? "Horray Shawn!" Arrietty cheered as I chuckled happy, "Yep! I guess so!" And then after we heard a weird loud loud, we all go silent. "What.....was that?" Everyone looked around until the ground started to shake and every one shoke with it a little as the noise became louder and closer. "What's going on!?" Arrietty shouted scard.
