Arrietty: Returning to you

Eternal magic:

"Guys, seriously, what happened? Please tell me..." then everyone looked at me sadly. "Arrietty....I'm so sorry...." one borrower cried. "We told him not to.....he's not even waking up....." My heart froze in horror, then started to crack painfully into a million pieces. I know who they were talking about now. "SHAWN!!!" I ran up to him and saw him lying down. I tried to tap him awake, that didn't help. "We tried everything already, but nothing woke him up..." A bee said. Then Mike cried, "Oh why? Why him? He was a such a nice and innocent boy!" Mike cried, "He was my bravest and most kind-hearted loyal best friend ever..." I slowly said. "He was always there for me, even if it put him in danger, he always was willing to protect me.....And I let my best friend die....." Then I cry on him. "I'm so sorry Shawn......I'm so sorry!..." then everyone, including the bees, droped on thier knees and morned along with me. After a while, we opened our eyes and saw our hearts glowing. Just like Shawn's! But how? We didn't process the same magic! But yet, magic was slowly coming out of us all, including the bees. Then, all that magic went in the air and formed something. At first, it just looked like a ball, but after looking closely, we saw it was a star! But not just any star, it was the spirit of Shawn's shooting star! The magic that came out of us all and formed that star was our magic of love for Shawn! He was our family. Then the star waved at us and dashed to Shawn. After a while, then it allowed itself to be slowly absorbed into Shawn's chest, just like when it first happened. We all stare concern and shocked as we see every bit of that spirit star disappear into Shawn's heart that was now glowing more brightly than ever. Then after a while, we heard the star softly say to us in a cute voice, "Take care of him..." Then his heart's glow started to ease down a little as nothing of the star was left outside, but inside of him, all of it. Then after a while of glowing, the heart stopped glowing and we waited patiently and eagerly.

Finally back to Shawn's POV~~~~~~~

I moaned a little and then opened my eyes. "Wha....what happened?" Then everyone's eyes widen as they made sure that I was really okay. "Shawn?" Arrietty asked. Then I started to open my eyes a little more and smiled at her, "Arrietty.....I'm glad....we're okay...." I said weakly. Then everyone cheered, hugged and cried again as each one ran up to me to hug me. "Shawn!" "Thank God!" "Your alive!" Everyone was talking at once, everyone was smiling, I'd say everything went back to normal.
Then later, we were all in the village, and Arrietty was dragging me somewhere, covering my eyes. "Come on Shawn! Your being too slow!" She playfully teased. "Hold on, I'm catching up!" I smiled back. Then after a long while of running, we stop. "Ready?" "Yeah" I feel her hand take my blindfold off as she says, "Ta-da!" I open my eyes and look at the sight amazed. They put up a celebration party for me! "Welcome home Shawn!" They all shouted. I was happy and smiling at first until I frowned a little. "Shawn, what's wrong?" "My Aunt....She's alone now...I have to go back and---" "Shawn!" I turn around and see my Aunt Jessica standing as the sweet giant human she is. "Aunt Jessica! How did you know I was here?" "Your little friends gave me a call and explained everything..." I look towards everyone and smile. "Arigato Everyone...." they all just smile and respectfully bow. "Especially your cute girlfriend" she smiled sweetly. "Phhhht!" Mike tried to hold it in but then laughed his head off, "see? Even your Aunt thinks you two would hit it off---" I just punch him in the arm as he goes flying somewhere. "Aunty...." I blush really bright. She chuckles,
"Oh, nevermind that deary, I'm here to stay too!" "Really!?" "Yes!" Then I laugh and cry as my Aunt picks me up and we nudge heads in a playful way. Then after she puts me back down, I ask, "But if your really gonna live here, then where are you gonna get furniture from?" "Who says I need any? I'll be those people who live in nature without those worldly possessions you guys have" then she lies on the grass near us and we all cheer louder. "Alright, now let's get this party started!" Mike shouted as he went to go get balloons and help out a little, as well as the other bees. "So, the bees are gonna stay here too?" "Yeah, ever since that experience, I think they've truly learned about the difference between friend and enemy. Besides, Mike seems grateful" we look at Mike from a distance and see him helping with the banner. "Woah!" Mike hits a wall and goarns. Then the Queen bee comes out and says, "Mike! Are you okay?" "Yeah your majesty, couldn't be better..." then we see Mike give the Queen a small hug and fly off. "Hmpt!" She huffs, being a tsundere. After laughing a while, then we turn to each other. "So....." I'm ready to ask her now, "Arrietty?" "Yes?" Man, I didn't say a thing yet and already I feel myself burning up. "Listen, you know that promise we made four years ago?" "Yes?" "Well, do you remember that last part?" Then we both flashback.

"And before I leave promise me one thing...."
"Yes?"
"When we do reunite......"
"Yes?........."

"Yes, although, it's kinda silly...." she giggled a little embarrassed. "Please, I've been bothered by forgetting that last part, I deserve to know that last part..." I tease. "Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you..." then she grabs me by the skirt collar, pulls me, and.....KISSES ME!!!???

"When we do reunite......"
"Yes?........."
"Promise we'll fall in love and finally stay together forever...."

Now I remembered. We promised that because even while young, we were somewhat in love with each other. But none of that matters now. Because now. that promise has been for fulfilled. Then we stopped as soon as we heard giggling. "Oh my, what happened to the 'friends' part?" Then both our faces went red as I shouted, "MIKE!" "I'm sorry!" He started flying away, "I just ship you two so much!" He smiled. Then he disappeared somewhere in the back, helping someone with the decorations. "Well," she looked at me, "We can't let those suckers have all the fun" then she smiled. "Yep, it's our party after all..." then I shouted, "last one to the party's a slow poke!" "Your on!" And then we raced over there as everyone laughed and cheered, playing games and watching movies. Some were even reading Manga! The party, to celebrate they're bravest and most bestest friend, me, was the best one ever. "Arrietty, Mina, thank you all so much, I couldn't be more grateful then to have you all as my family..."
Then everyone cheered and laughed as they partied for a long time. As for Haru, I don't know nor care where she is now or what happened to her, but something tells me that this time, she finally learned her lesson.
