Arrietty: Returning to you

Shawn, Is that you?:

It is now nighttime, and boy, am I tired. I look around for a place to sleep and then find a near by log. I guess the little creatures wouldn't mind sharing with me, just for the night though. Then I grabbed a near by leaf and threw it over me as a blanket. Then I found cotton and used it as a pillow. Finally, I threw my backpack somewhere near the bed and got ready to go to sleep. When I finally got to sleep though, I was awoken by a loud voice, "Hey! Wake up thief!" "AHHHHHH!!!" I jumped out of bed and hit the ground. Then I looked up and saw him. Mike. "Okay, so you found me, but look, I already ate the first jar, I have the second one, but why chase after me for it?" I asked him, crossing my arms a little. Mike then got closer to me, "Listen, our job may sound easy, but we work very hard to produce this honey for ourselves and our fellow comrades, so I'm as confused as to why you took mine." "I was hungry, I needed that..."
"You were hungry?" He sighs, "you could of just told me..." "but aren't bees aggressive?" "Aggressive? Ha! That's a nice one, not me kid, I'm a different type of bee!" He suddenly beamed. "So, who are you? I know your a human, and you look familiar to someone I know..." familiar? Me? Who do I look like to him? Then I put my left hand on the chest and say, "I don't know if you know me by seeing me walk outside sometimes, but I'm Shawn...." "Shawn!? You're actually that human kid there!?" "Yes?" Then Mike gets excited as he circles around me, "Sheesh! You've definitely grown since the last time I saw you" "And when was that?" I asked. "I think four years ago, when you were saying goodbye to a little female Borrower, I think her name was......Arrietty?" I completely went shocked, how does he all that? "Um, excuse me, but, um, how do you know all that?" He looks confused as first but then smiles, "Oh! Well, Arrietty, she's like our princess of nature, so when we heard about her leaving to a new home, almost every animal and borrower was there in the bushes, watching your beautiful farewells, and then we ran to met up with her at the teapot
and---" "Wait, so, if you were there and helped her to her new house, that means, you know where she lives! Possibly!" "Wow, you read my mind exactly, are you an magician?" "No..."
"Anyway, how did you shrink into a Borrower's size?" "A shooting star, I made a wish to see Arrietty again, but, that star probably thought I wished to be small like her..." "Smile kid! I don't what your all moopy about, this is an advantage! You'll be able to find her better now!" He smiled at me. Then I smiled back and waved my hand to signal him to stay the night with me, and so, Mike did! He took the nearest by leaf and covered himself up too, with another cotton pillow I made for him too. Hours and Hours went by, and then the sky started to turn a little blue again as a loud roaster randomly "cockadoodledoo!"ed us wake. "Ugh, man, that roaster is so annoying...." "Well, we must as well start the day..." "With what? What are we gonna eat for breakfast?" I give him a slight smile and then pull out my second jar of honey. "Oh, right, my second honey..." then they ate it and left on thier journey. After a while of walking and wondering around the grass, then they heard something. "What was that?" "I don't know! Listen and look" we looked all around us and listened to to see who or what it was. Then a figure appeared out of the grass, it was.....a borrower? "Who's that?" I asked. Then Mike looked closer and said, "Wait.......it's definitely a girl, thier wearing a red sleeveless shirt, has a belt, short jeans that reach a little before the knees, brown boots, and a white bag over thier shoulder......and they have long brown loose hair......hmm...." then his eyes went wide, "Oh my gosh! Arriettty! Is that you!?" Mike shouted surprised. I face-palmed myself and turned to Mike worried, "Mike! You shouldn't just randomly shout out things like that!" "Sorry...I just...." then the person turns around and looks at us curiously. "Mike? Yes! It's me! Arrietty!" Then we both become excited, "ARRIETTY!!!" And run up to her and hug her as she cries tears of joy, then when we break the hug up, she looks at me confused. "I'm really sorry, but, do I know you?" Oh right.....it's been years and, well, when you hit your older teen or adult years, you sound different, you look a little different, and, well, it's just hard in general to recognize people after years of not seeing them. "Arrietty, it's me, Shawn!" Then she looks alittle shocked and almost cries, "S-S-Shawn? B-But how? H-He's a giant human!" "Arrietty, believe me, It's really me, look...." I pull out the teapot from the dollhouse back at home and show her. Then she bursts into tears as she runs up and hugs me tightly, "Shawn!!!! I'm so happy I finally got to see you!!! I'm sorry I didn't recognize you!!! You looked very different then from when you were a little boy...." then I kinda blush as I hug her back with a huge smile and cried a little too, "Me too, I almost didn't recognize you either...." then we let go from the hug, "You looked too much like one of those warrior babes to be you...." I kind of laugh. Then I realized what I said and slaped myself. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" "Naw, it's okay, I do like the warrior part though" she giggled. All I could do was blush, smile nervously and try to act like it was no big deal. Then Mike flew up to me and said, "Way to go maestro...." then I turn around and slap him as he laughs his head off, "Shut up..." I tease as he still laughs his head off.
