I'll just use this as an example. It's easier show then explained.
Shu walked up and sat next to Ayato. "Hey Ayato, you know Cordelia's heart is in Yui?"
"WHAT? No, I didn't know that."
"Well, it is. And we need to keep Cordelia from possessing Yui so that she doesn't stab herself."
...And so on. Like that. Like, you just skipped most of the plot and went straight to the last 3 episodes of a 24 episode anime!
