I'm sure everyone who ever wrote a book got a rude comment or a comment chain of someone pointing out their mistakes. There's someone on wattpad who does that, I'm not gonna say her name cause that account is attacked a lot as it is. But, anyway, my problem is when I see a reader point out one or two mistakes and the author lashes out on them. Sorta like this:
Insert name here said "You have to get it from their." The people looking at him nodded and went to go get the item in question. (One comment)
The comment would be someone saying:
"There*"
A simple, calm correction. Say "Oh, thanks for pointing that out! I usually don't miss stuff on corrections."
DO NOT be like the author I mentioned before and call your reader a name. They're contributing to your read count, your comment count, even your vote count that will move you up if someone searches up a name similar to your book.
Please, do not insult your readers.
