It's the next day, it's the day something very very special is about to take place, Mick doesn't know it yet, he thinks he's waking up to a normal day, little does he know

Johnny enters Nancys room

'Kids' Mick calls from the kitchen

He kept pushing you know, I felt bad

Has, has mum been in contact with you this morning at all, about when's she's coming back or?
Yeah she said Ollie has some art class in the morning so she'll be back like early/mid afternoon and we're are going to make this day special for dad okay, we'll make his breakfast, tidy the house oh and I've got another idea for later
Mick walks in the hall way and walks towards Nancys room toward the noise of chatting and puts his ear to the door
Right, we need to get organised about how we're doing this so let's go

As Nancy opens the door mick falls and staggers into her room

Mick has a puzzled look, you know Father's Day was last week right

Nancy walks off
Mick walks up the stairs and whispers and his breath
And I'm still waiting for my card cheers Nance
Mick opens the door to the kitchen where Johnny and Nancy are
Nancy presents her dad the fry up with both arms outstretched pointing towards it and her mouth wide open

Johnny comes round with a tee towel and tucks it in to his collar of his top

Mick looks at the pair in disbelief

We'd just thought it'd be nice, now that Nancy is back, Nancy turns round with the frying pan of bacon and poses with sass as she washes up, to treat you today dad
Mick smiles

They both smile
Come here as mick stands up urging them forwards
Mick embraces his two lovely children
I just need my L and little man back then I'll be one happy man, Johnny and Nancy look at each other as he says this but mick is oblivious as he looks at the family photo on the wall

Yep Johnny looks at his dad
They pull away from the hug

I thought he just got a good job down in Dover so he left, is there something you're not telling me?!
Nance listen to ur brother yeah not today cos you've gotta organise my surprise ain't ya
Mick taps both of Nance's cheeks and sits back down
Nancy looks at Johnny with curiosity
