I keep having this dream about you coming back, that I wake up and your laying beside me with your arm around my waist.
And I wake up to see your scruffy blonde hair and your ocean blue eyes. That's when I know that everything will be alright.
Your grip tightens and I hear a soft grunt as you turn to face the other side of the room. Your sudden movement causes your cologne to whisper through the air.
I loved the smell of your cologne... I missed the smell of your cologne.
I missed the warmth you gave my bed, the crinkles you put in my sheets, the memory you left in my mattress.
In all honestly I don't think you ever understood the impact you had on me. I would have done anything for you...I did do anything for you.
I missed all of you, both good and bad because the good made me smile like never before and the bad gave me the adrenaline I had forgotten to feel.
But then I wake up in fits of sweats and heaving breathing because it's 3:47 in the morning and it was all just a stupid dream.
