Arthur’s POV

I sat on my bed in shock. Why would Helen just leave like that? Why would she go and do that? I don’t understand it. Was it from what I did? Have I made her run away? I really don’t know and all Morgana keeps saying is its going to be ok. I really wish she was better at giving advice or comforting people because she really does suck at it.

After all this time you think she would be good at it but she isn’t, she never has and probably never will be good at it. I need someone else because Mordred doesn’t even help me much these days. I feel like something big is missing and its killing me inside. I’m worried about Helen leaving but I can’t help but think about Gwen Morgana’s maid. I saw her earlier and since then I can’t get her out my head and how amazing she really is.

“Arthur,” said Morgana who had just came into the room.

“What is it?” I asked her.

“He is leaving with his son. They said after his daughter’s disappearance he wants to leave. He can’t believe what is happening and he blames you for it. He doesn’t want to reunite out lands anymore,” said Morgana.

“I thought he would say that. We better at least say a goodbye or try to convince them to stay,” I said as I got up from the bed and Morgana led the way out my chamber.

Helen’s POV

Memory

“Helen honey you don’t have to go,” said my mother.

“Yes I do. Look after him ok, look after Merlin. One day I’ll see you both again. I love you both so much but I have to go,” I said to her softly.

“I don’t understand,” said my mother.

“One day you will. I love you,” I said before I left the village of Ealdor and never looked back.

I woke up with a start next to a tree. I took a few gasps for air before it darned on me. This guy Merlin who I had been thinking about, dreaming about for a long time is actually my brother. How could I have forgotten that? It doesn’t make any sense.

Then again apart from now knowing Merlin is my brother none of it makes sense. It’s the only memory I have of him and my mother. What am I going to do? Will more memories come? If not where do I begin to find Merlin? I’m not going to give up now though. Merlin is my brother somehow and I’m going to find him.

Merlin’s POV

Memory

“Merlin where you going with that thing?” asked Will.

“What’s it look like, we need more wood,” I said to him.

“We both know that you don’t need an axe to cut a tree,” said Will.

“And I remember what trouble it got me into. It almost flattened old man Semen’s,” I said to him pointing my axe to the left.

“Well he deserved it the stupid old crow,” laughed Will.

“He never did like me anyway,” I laughed back.

“Even less after that.”

I woke up to find Jake near me. “Are you alright?” he asked me.

“I’ve been better. Jake I think I have magic,” I said to him.

“What?” he asked shocked.

“I can’t be sure but I swear I saw a glimpse of magic well me speaking about it to someone called Will. I think he was my friend. If I have magic what does that mean?” I asked him.

“I don’t know,” said Jake looking extremely worried.

“Do you think it’s bad I got magic?” I asked him.

“I don’t know but don’t worry Merlin. I have magic too,” he smiled right at me. My mouth dropped open in shock.
