Friday

Naruto's POV

"Ah finally Friday." I thought to myself as I stepped out of the house I start my walk to school with the flowers and chocolate in my hand. Once I'm in front of the school I see Hinata stepping out of her driver's car. I actually have a car myself I just prefer to walk. "Good morning Hinata." I say approaching her. She sees the flowers and starts smiling. "Hm cherry blossoms, nice touch." She said giggling. As we walk into the school all the other kids wave at us. We kindly waved back as we head to our lockers. We finally reach them which just happened to be right next to each other's. " What classes to we have today?" She asked me. "Uh periods 1,2,4,6, and 8. I tell her. "Oh alright." She said. I put the flowers and chocolates into my locker for later. Me and Hina walk to first period together. For the first time in forever Kakashi sensei is actually early.

"Good morning class, as you know I told you guys about that beginning of the year project so I want everyone to pick a topic from biology and make a poster board explaining various parts and details." He told us. I looked over at Hina to see her looking back at me.
I smirked knowing we had the same idea. "THE HUMAN BODY SYSTEM!" We both said at the same time. She giggled. "Alright so we can start taking notes at the sleep over and did you invite the others to the mall?" She asked. "Yeah but they all said they were busy. Looks like it's just me, you, Sakura-chan, and Teme." I told her. She just nodded at Me and continued taking notes. I couldn't wait to ask out Sakura-chan, this is going to be a great day.

After biology we headed to second period which was music with Kurenai Sensei. Luckily for us she was absent so we got free time. It seems that Kiba was in this class as well. We both sat next to him all catching up on Random things. We asked him why he couldn't come to the mall and he told us his pet dog Akamaru was sick. I told him about my plans and he wished me luck. After second period ended it was finally time for lunch I made my to my locker while Hina went on to the cafeteria. I walked in shortly after.

Hinata's POV

Naruto-kun came in with the flowers looking so happy. I couldn't help but smile at him knowing he was finally getting the girl of his dreams. I watched as he walked up to her. "SAKURA HARUNO WILL YOU MAKE ME HAPPIEST MAN ALIVE AND PLEASE GO ON A DATE WITH ME?!?" He yelled to the top of his lungs. I looked at Sakura-chan to see tears down her face. She must've been so overjoyed. Everyone waited for her reply. "I'm sorry Naruto, but I love someone else." She said running away. I looked at Naruto to see him looking like he'd lost a sibling, without another word he ran out of the cafeteria I quickly followed.

He was so fast that I lost him, I stopped for a moment and thought about where he would be. I then remembered and ran up the stairs. I kept going up until I got to the rooftop, surely he was right there. Looking down. I walked up to him and stood there. "Naruto-kun." I said to him. He just looked up at me I saw nothing but pain and heart break in his eyes, this instantly broke me. "Naruto-kun, I'm so sorry!" I yelled sobbing. "I know how much you love Sakura-chan, I Wish I could do something to help you." I continued still crying. "I'm a horrible best friend." I told him.
I suddenly felt him hugging me. "Hey don't beat yourself up Hina, there's plenty of other fish in the sea." He told me. I just continued crying. He rubbed my back trying to make me stop.

"And you're not a horrible best friend. You're the most fantastic beautiful person I've ever met." He told me. I eventually stopped crying. " So are we still having the sleep over?" I asked him. "Of. Course! A little heart break isn't gonna stop me from hanging with my favorite girl." He said chuckling.

I blushed madly looking down. "Alright let's go back to class." I say pulling him up with me. We both walked back down the stairs holding hands once we're at the bottom we let go to avoid rumors. As we make our way to 4th period we walk in different directions since we didn't have the same class. I walked into ibiki Sensei's class to see Shikamaru sitting there alone, I go and sit next to him. "Hey Shikamaru-kun." I say. "Hey Hinata. How's Naruto?" He asked. "Oh well he's okay now, we're having a sleepover tonight so I'll make sure he's better by Monday." I told him. "Well that's good." He said as the bell rang. He then put his head down on the desk, going to sleep I guess..
