Hinata's POV

As I arrived home from school, all types of thoughts were going through my head. Was he joking or was he not? Because if he was I'm gonna kill him. I never really thought of the possibility of me and Naruto getting together. I mean sure everyone would tease about it once in a while but I never actually took what they said to heart. Man I need a nap, this is all too much...

Naruto's POV

I can't believe I just said that. To my best friend at that!!! But hey, she is kinda cute definitely a looker. I didn't even know I had these feelings for her till last week. When Sakura rejected me and Hina was the only one there to comfort me, they hit me like a truck. I need to talk to someone, trouble is I don't know who...

Author's POV

The whole gang (minus Naruto and Hinata) were in sakura's basement. They were all talking. "Okay guys phase 1 is complete. Naruto's finally moving on from me so he can finally notice Hinata." Sakura said confidently. "I'm sorry what was exactly phase 1?" Lee asked confused. "Rejection!" She said eagerly. "I'm not sure I understand." He said unsure. "Simple he had a crush on me and asks me out, so I rejected him by lying and saying I have a crush on Sasuke." She said looking at the attractive Uchiha. "So wait you don't have a major crush on Sasuke?" Tenten asked shocked. "Of course not! He's just the only believable candidate for me to use. He was the only one in on this since I didn't need our cover to be blown. I only made Hinata think I like him because I'm 95% sure she's told Naruto by now." Sakura said once again confidently.

"Wow that's so elaborate! Sakura you're almost like Shikamaru genius!!" Ino said excitedly. "I wouldn't go that far, but thanks." Sakura replied chuckling. "Now lets get down to business. We need to come up with a phase 2 and quickly. And I think I have just the plan." She said smirking. "Well don't hold out on us, what is it?" Kiba asked. "You know Kiba, I'm glad you asked because I'm gonna need you for it. So get ready, phase 2: JEALOUSY." She said proudly. "So what exactly do I have to do with "JEALOUSY" because I can just tell it's crazy." Kiba stated. "Simple, you have to ask out Hinata again and make Naruto so jealous that he burns with envy." She told him.

"I don't know there's too many risks." Shikamaru finally spoke up. "Oh yeah like what?" Sakura asked. "Well what if Hinata falls for Kiba? That's a recipe for disaster." Trust me she won't, I'll make sure of it." Sakura said....

Hinata's POV

I woke up to a FaceTime call from Naruto! I can't answer right now I look a mess with this bed head!! Wait since when did I care how he saw me? Oh forget it I'm answering.
"Hey hina!" Naruto yells in my ear. "Uh hey Naruto-kun" I replied awkwardly. "What are you doing right now?" He asked. "Uh I just woke up from a nap." I told him pointing to my messed up hair. "Yeah I was wondering why it looked like you just went through world war 3." He said laughing. "Oh shut it!" I told him smiling. "So you wanna go somewhere tomorrow?" He asked me. "Sure where?" I inquired. "It's a surprise! I'll pick you up at 8." He told me. "Alright see ya then." I told him. "Yeah bye!" He said with his handsome face disappearing from my screen. I got out of bed and went into my bathroom for a quick shower. Once i got out i put on some comfy clothes and sat on my couch to watch some TV when my doorbell rang. I opened it to see Kiba with some pizza and roses. "Uh Kiba-kun? What brings you here and what's with the roses?" I inquired. "Hinata i never stopped loving you, can i please have a second chance to prove that to you?" He told me.

I stood there wide eyed. "Listen Kiba i don't really feel the same way, but i guess we could go out if you're so eager to show me how you feel." I told him honestly. He smiled and hugged me. I giggled and hugged him back. "So how about i take you out tomorrow at 8?" He asked excitedly. "Well i was supposed to go with Naruto somewhere but im sure he'll understand so yeah, it's a date." He kissed my cheek and handed me the pizza and roses. "Well i gotta get going I'll see you tomorrow." He said walking out of my driveway. "Bye Kiba-kun!" I called after him.
