Krystal jogged up to Jayden as he started walking away.
She went back to a more professional mode - Slightly more like her old self, "Your foot probably needs to be repaired from the fight."
Jayden darted his head up; he never noticed that Hugo's foot was damaged because of the thick socks he was wearing.
She continued, "Emmett can fix it for you."
"Of course," Jayden replied, putting out a false sense of self-assuredness and narcissism.
He tried to think of what he could do to preserve his false identity. He could crush his own foot, but he would have to know which foot was damaged.
He decided that he would try to get Krystal to say whether it was the right or left, "Yes. It is difficult to walk on."
Krystal nodded in understanding. Then, she jogged up to a seal pup model, "Emmet," She said, "Hugo needs his left foot to be repaired."
Jayden reluctantly seated himself on a rock, and started to untie the laces of his left boot. He slid his foot out, and pulled his sock off, revealing that his foot was in pristine condition.
Emmett looked up at Krystal, perplexed.
Krystal realized that he wasn't who he appeared to be, "Jayden," She stated angrily.
He couldn't hide the fact that he was lying anymore, "Correct," He said calmly.
Krystal was disgusted and started to pace, "I should have known. How could I have been so blind?! You're cold as ice!" She stopped and glared at him, "How could you do this to me?!"
He considered, "It is a pity..."
"What?" She spat sarcastically.
Jayden looked at her, and responded coolly, "That you are allowing yourself to adopt those same qualities that you most hated in humans."
She scoffed, but couldn't come up with an effective argument against his point, Maybe I am becoming like them...
But she stubbornly dismissed this, "Put him with the others, and reactivate Hugo," She continued, smirking at Jayden, "And make sure Sukoyaka has truly been deactivated."
