Jayden dipped the 12 sharp tips of the arrows into the gasoline.
"I have finished the arrows," He notified, looking at his handiwork. Then he looked up at Diesel and informed, "They will land within approximately 3 centimeters of where they were originally aimed."
Diesel came over, and put them inside of her barely-zipped-open pack, using it as a quiver. She walked back over to the chimney.
Then she looked back at her friends and smiled, "See you when I get back!"
"Please do be careful," Arik was concerned for the person he viewed as his sister.
"I will be," Diesel assured him. Then she shimmied up the contraption and took off.
Arik noted, "If Krystal sees that Diesel is going towards the supplies, then they might feel more confident in attacking us. So, we should probably watch the windows just in case."
"A wise precaution," Jayden replied, then went up to the window by the table and turned around, "I shall observe from here."
"I'll take the living room," Lila said.
"What if they come inside though?" Arik asked from the bedroom window.
Sukoyaka replied, standing up, "I'll make sure that they don't get that far."
"The cause of the blown fuse in your system was never determined," Jayden objected, "I suggest that you stay inside. You may take my place if you like."
Sukoyaka replied, "We're outnumbered and have very little supplies. We need all the help we can get."
"And regardless of whether you stay at the window or not," Lila remarked, "I believe everyone in this room will end up having to fight at some point."
"Let me watch with you," Hugo was set on redemption.
Sukoyaka understood his motives, "Okay."
Sukoyaka took the front of the house, Hugo took the back, walking out the back door.
As they were preparing to fight, Diesel was in the air near the tents. She thought it was strange that she hadn't been fired at yet.
Woosh
"Nevermind then," Diesel said after she heard the arrow rush by her ear.
Another one took some of the fur off her ear.
She looked down, and only saw shrubbery and the tops of evergreens through the mist. That only meant they were up in the trees this time... A more accurate shot.
She looked down again, and saw an arrow coming straight at her. She banked to the right just in time to dodge it.
As Diesel dislodged her arms from her wings, she pulled out an arrow, lit the end of it whilst shielding it from the wind, and aimed it at one of the tents that she was approaching below. She found a good position. As she was about to loose the arrow, one was shot at her, and she had to move, and she missed.
The archers in the trees must have seen the flame. One arrow shot at her, which she dodged. Then another one pierced right through her jetpack. Diesel began to lose altitude, and started descending quickly.
"Okay," She said to keep herself calm, "I see you, tent."
She went into a controlled dive, and shot the arrow at very low range as she zoomed past. It was a direct hit.
"Yes!" She looked back and saw the fire and the explosions.
She turned back around, and crashed right into a tree...
"Diesel was just shot down!" The fox observed with her binocular-like vision, "We should attack now!"
Krystal looked down from the tree they were in overlooking the cabin from a distance, "They are guarding now, no doubt looking for us," She floated down, " Let's give them what they want."
"Marion! Rex!" Krystal called two bear models, "Come with me, Marion," She looked at the fox, "Circle around the back of the cabin and go in the back door with Rex."
They nodded, and proceeded as Krystal asked them...
