The plane landed and we got off. I called my friends and let them know I had landed. They all agreed to meet me over at my house. Her driver was waiting for us. I noticed the guys were still waiting for theirs.
"You guys wanna ride. I have plenty of room." I offered
"Sure that would be great." Liam said
I walked over to the driver and started talking to the driver. She nodded and I waved them over. The driver only spoke Spanish. They followed us to the car.
"Miss Hall son usted y sus visitantes dispuestos a ir?" She asked
"Sí, señora. que somos. ¿Cuánto tiempo antes de llegar allí?" I told her
"Alrededor de treinta minutos."
I nodded and they looked at me.
"She said it would take about thirty minutes." I said
They nodded and got in the car. When we got to the house, we got out and walked inside.
"Grandmother?" I asked
I heard footsteps.
"Are those my babies?" I heard her ask
"And I have some friends with me if you don't mind." I said
"Of course I don't. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine."
She walked down the stairs, and smiled.
"Hello, my darlings." She said kissing our heads
"Hello, Grandmother." I said
"Hi." Aria whispered
She looked at the boys.
"Oh, Grandmother. This is Liam, Niall, Louis, Zayn, and Harry."
"How are you boys?" She asked
"We're fine Mrs. Hall." Zayn said
She lead us to the living room and we sat down.
"How are things in the states?" She asked
"Bloody Awful. I'm thinking of moving back here." I said
"But why dear? Being in the States are a good way to get the life you never had."
"Grandmother, the bloddy states will never be as good as home. This is my home. England, you , everything but that ruddy place is home to me."
She just sighed and slowly shook her head.
"I'm sorry, Grandmother. But, this will always be my home. Aria doesn't know any better but I do and I refuse to think the States are my home."
"I understand, Ara."
That's her little nickname for me. I'm not going to lie I missed her like crazy.
"May the boys stay the night, Grandmother?" I asked
"Only if you cook dinner." She said
I laughed.
"Then it's settled. Boys I will show you to your rooms. And a tour around the house. Aria go play with your toys."
I stood up and grabbed my bags and they grabbed theirs. We went up the stairs. When we got to the top I heard Aria scream. I dropped my bags and jumped over the railing of the stairs. Even in a dress I don't care. I ran into the living room. She was hiden under a table and there was a blood stain on my grandmother's shirt. I ran over to her.
"Grandmama!" I yelled, shaking her.
My eyes started tearing up.
"Please. Please wake up. Don't Die on me. Please Grandmother. I beg you please open your eyes, say something anything, Grandma."
I knew she wasn't going to open her eyes or say anything. She was officially gone. The doorbell rang. I slowly got up and walked to it. There stood Vanessa, Jess, Rachel, and Elizabeth. I wiped the tears off of my face.
"What's wrong, sweets." Vanessa asked
"Just come in. Please. I haven't called an ambulance yet." I said
The guys were standing next to Aria.
"We called an ambulance, Arabella." Louis said
I just offered a small smile and nodded. I then walked to the kitchen. Grandmother always kept a fridge full of liquor and beer. I reached up and grabbed a bottle of vodka. I didn't bother with the shot glass I heard hit the counter. I just took a huge gulp of it. My grandmother had been murdered in front of my five year old sister. I walked back into the living room. Aria ran up to me.
"Sissy, I'm scared." She cried
"i know sweetie. Will you go play with Nessie, Jess, Ray, and liz for a few minutes?" I asked
"Sure."
She ran to Vanessa.
"Nessie, let's go play dress up in my room."
They took her in her room and I went back into the kitchen because A) that's where the phone was and B) that's where the liquor was. I kept the bottle of vodka at my side.
