More Than A Conspiracy: A Simonette Love Story

Chapter 2: In the Morning

Third Person POV
Jeanette Miller had just arrived back at the treehouse where she lived with her sisters. She had just gotten back from Simon Seville's room. She was worried that she'd lose him and as other horrible thoughts raced through her head, she decided to go consult Simon and tell him her feelings. This didn't go as planned and she ended up spending the night with him ((without him knowing)). As soon as she stepped into the treehouse her sisters were already awake. "Jeanette!" Brittany confronted her, "Where have you been?!" A distressed Jeanette could only tell the whole Truth. "I was at the Chipmunk's house,"Jeanette nervously said in response. " I fell asleep with Simon. But it was an accident.. I wanted to talk to him and...I-i just couldn't so I lied down next to him..." The room was silent for a few seconds. That was until Eleanor spoke up. "Wow. Why were you even over so late in the first place?"Again, Jeanette only believed in telling the truth. "I went over there to talk to Simon at about 11 and I got nervous and decided to just lie next to him and think. I ended up falling asleep. I woke up at when the sun rose at 6 and here I am now." Eleanor and Brittany still had more questions. "What did you need to talk to him about that was sooo important?", Brittany asked her curiously. Jeanette was too nervous to say it. She ended up looking at the ground avoiding their gaze. Her sisters suddenly got a hint of what was going on. They smirked to each other as they both came to the realization that Jeanette had a crush on Simon and was troubled about the his popularity. They saw how Jeanette was acting after the performance and how she got lost in the crowd when she went to talk to Simon the first time. "Oh I know what this is about.", Eleanor said to break the silence. She still had the same smirk on her face. She looked over to Brittany and they both nodded and as fast as they could they ran over and trapped Jeanette in a gigantic sibling hug. "You have a crush!", they both said in Unison, still smiling. "I-I do?", Jeanette replied confused. "Well duh!", Brittany retorted,"It's obvious!" Upon hearing this, Jeanette stood still and blushed as she recapped her thoughts about Simon. As she thought about him more and more she swooned and fell to her knees. Her sisters picked he up laughing. "Y-you're right", Jeanette replied, smitten, "I do have a crush, I always knew I felt something towards him. Now I know what those feelings are. Those feelings I keep bottled up inside. They are feelings of affection." Poor Jeanette flopped onto her bed. "But he probably doesn't feel the same.", she sighed. "And besides, now all the popular girls are after him. He's probably too popular to notice me." Brittany and Eleanor just stared at Jeanette. They felt bad for their sister and wanted to help her. They didn't know how though. So they just comforted her and they all got ready for school and left.
