Rhett was still grieving over May-Lee's passing...
...Every time he remembered the times they had with the rest of the team, Rhett began crying the same as when he first heard the news...

One time, whilst he was crying, Brandon walked over to him and placed a hand on his back
He smiled as Rhett looked at him, returning a glare of reassurance
'Don't cry Rhett! May-Lee may be gone, but you've still got us!'
Gage then stood next to Brandon and wrapped an arm around his shoulder
'Yeah! you've still got me and Brandon looking out for you!'
Viento and Wyatt then walked over and grinned
'And don't forget about us! we're the awesome ones here!'
Gage then laughed
'Heck! now that would really be a miracle!'
Acapela, Tyder and Somberay then walked over and smiled with the others
'Yeah! Don't forget us too!'
The three said together
Rhett then smiled, His hair bounced back into color, his eyes lit up again, there was even a little sparkle in them, his old smile shone on his face as he bounced back up again...
'Yeah! I guess your right about May-Lee, he may be gone-'
The next bit made the others jump a mile
'-But at least I've still got you guys!!'
As Rhett laughed at the end of his sentence, a pair of red and white wings that looked like teardrops unfurled out behind him
Gage's jaw dropped as the others celebrated
'OH MY GOD! RHETT YOUR A HORIZON RACER!!!'
Gage shouted as he pointed at Rhett's new wings
'Wow! I sure am!!'
Rhett laughed as he flew about with his new wings, he loved it! flying about in the air like he'd always dreamed
'Brandon SUPER likey this!!'
Brandon laughed as he flew into the air with him
Acapela then called them down, he smiled at Rhett as he landed
'Nice routine, new racer of friendship!'
Rhett's eyes glowed as he heard Acapela call him 'racer of friendship'
They all then looked up...
