You Changed Me

Robyn's POV

I woke up with hands around me, knowing they were Chris', and smiled. I guess he sneaked into my bed last night and would of rather laid with me then on the couch.

"Baby, are you awake?" Chris whispered and I smiled.

"Yeah... I guess you were pretty sleepy last night." I sat up on the bed as he did too.

"Sorry... I was so tired." He kissed my cheek and bit his lip, touching the underwear I was wearing.

"That's fine, I was sleepy too anyways. Oh and um, did you make a spa appointment for my sis and I?" I asked him, remembering about my sister telling me about it last night and he laughed.

"Yep, you'll have one last night at Michael's, then you and the girls will be here with me! Sounds like a plan?!" He smiled excitedly.

"Yes, sounds like a plan!!!" I got off the bed to use the bathroom.

It feels amazing, new & clean to finally have new clothes to wear. I still had to go clothes shopping for the girls since I didn't yesterday, but I'm sure Nicki will help soon or I'll just do it by myself.

Then I realized I don't even have my own car. Shit. I left that dirty piece of shit at the corner....I'll have to buy one shortly or just have Chris drive me around for a while. I needed new car seats for the girls too...why didn't I think about this yesterday?!

Well I didn't think about it, because I was enjoying myself for once. And there's nothing wrong with that...right?

Hopping in the shower, I knew how to use the shower now by clicking a button and was proud of myself.

I wore everything in black besides a white bow in my curly hair, not forgetting about Alicia's bracelet as I put it back on my wrist.

Chris wasn't in my room or his room, so I went all the way down the stairs to find him. I'd be surprised if he was cooking again...

"No no no let me cook!!!" I jumped on his back as he was trying to find something to make and we started laughing.

"Damn, you're so light!!!" He laughed and spun me around.

"Haha. You've done so much for me tho, please let me cook!!" I pouted and he kissed me.

"Fine...you can cook..." He sighed sarcastically as if he was upset, but I knew he was relieved.

"So, what are you gonna do today??" I asked him as I got out the pancake mix.

"Um...maybe hang with Michael for a while...he's taking a day off..." Chris told me.

"That's cool. Michael was always the fun guy in high school. Asking me out everyday and making all the girls and I laugh..." I laughed to myself, remembering him in high school trying to ask me out and make me laugh.

"Wait, really?? He asked you out?!" Chris sounded surprised, I thought he knew. They were best friends since high school....

"Well yeah. But obviously nothing ever happened, he was just that funny guy everyone knew in high school. But when he saw me and hugged me last week, I actually forgot who he was!" I told Chris as he was sitting at the kitchen table.

"Hmm.... sorry to change subject butx is rhe appointment I scheduled is at 1, right?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Yep! Thank you times a million!!" I turned my back to smile at him and he smiled back.
