Things people forget about the Kingdom Keepers.
(No major spoilers)
💥Maybeck was the original tech guy.
💥Philby walked across a tight rope at one point.
💥Finn is afraid of snakes.
💥Willa is afraid of spiders.
💥Charlene is afraid of fish. (This may not end well for my Girl Scout troop...)
💥None of the male Keepers go by their first name (Maybeck and Philby are last names, Finn is a middle name).
💥When they were all trying to stay awake for forever, the ones who fell asleep were...... Philby and Willa. Nobody recognized the significance of the two because Wilby had not been born yet.
💥Philby crossed over in only his underwear once.
💥Finn and the others suddenly started feeling bad when there was a glitch in the DHI system. Does that just, like, not happen anymore?
💥In the first book while they are in the truck, Amanda levitates all five Keepers. In the second book, when they discover her powers, she isn't nearly strong enough to hold them all up for that long.
Ok, now this is turning into another mistakes kinda thing. Let's just continue.
💥This is a long one. Bear with me. So in the books, things (like the fob) in their pockets don't cross over with them. But if they crossed over wet, they'd still be wet. Moving forward slightly, nothing you don't cross over with can be returned with you because it want scanned in. They had this discussion about the fob. Buuuuuttt, there have been many times where the Keepers get wet when the are crossed over and when they return, they are still wet. They weren't scanned in wet so why would they wake up wet? And you may be thinking, "But that's a liquid and the fob is a solid." Well, yes. But they have also returned with sticks and leaves in their hair, along with dried mud on their clothes. Those are solids. Annnddd, the clothes. I don't like the idea of taking their clothes with them. I think they should be wearing the clothes they were scanned in wearing all the time because of the same reasons why the fob cannot cross over in one's pocket. But they at least have clothes (except for #8) and having clothes is a good thing for a children's book.
💥I also hate the three year gap between books 6 and 7. I don't get why it was there. I siriusly doubt that Tia Dalma would take three years to get out of the cavern they buried her in during book 6. And nothing says "Children's book" like people graduating from high school and getting ready to go to college.
