I wake up with a smile. Pete loves me. He loves me so much. I go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. I get change, do my hair and make up and go to the living room.

"Morning sweetheart," Zach who's reading a newspaper on the couch says happily. I plop my ass down the empty space beside him and look at the newspaper.

"What are you reading?" I ask.

"Stock market development," he answers. He closes and fold the newspaper then puts it on the wooden table. He turns his body to face me. He caresses my cheek and looks into my eyes.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks. I nod.

"Where's Hunter?" I ask.

"In his room maybe. Why?"

"Of course I wanna say a happy birthday to him,"

"Okay, don't take too long," he says. I stand up and suddenly Zach grabs my wrist. I turn my head and he smiles.

"I love you so much Valerie," he says. I smile before pull my hand off. I'm sorry Zach. I go upstairs and look for Hunt's room. I knock the door and Ash is the one who opens it.

"Hey Val," she says.

"Hi. Where's Hunter?" I ask.

"In the shower. Wanna say happy birthday?"

"Yeah," I smile. Ash steps out of their room and close the door.

"Follow me," she says.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"To somewhere private to talk," she says. She leads me to the balcony.

"So..." she starts.

"So what?" I ask confusedly.

"I know you know what I mean," she says.

"Are you sure this is the most private place here?" I ask.

"Just answer my fucking question bitch,"

"Okay. I told Pete everything," I say quietly.

"Told what?"

"I know you know what I mean Ash,"

"You confessed?"

I nod.

"Seriously?"

I nod.

"And then, he said what?" She asks enthusiastically.

"He said that he fell in love with me since the first time we met, 10 years ago," I say.

"Really? I know that. And then?"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend,"

"Jesus Christ! And you said yes?"

"No,"

"What?! What the actual fuck that just happened Val? Why did you said no?" She protests.

"Can you please a little bit quiet?" I ask.

"Okay okay, sorry. What the actual fuck, Val!"

"I didn't say no, I didn't answered,"

"What?"

"Zach, I can't override him. I really wanna be Pete's girlfriend. He's all I want. But what about Zach? Listen, if I said yes to Pete, Zach might be thinking that Pete is backstabbing him. Zach might be thinking that Pete is arrogating me from him and I won't let that happen. I'll talk to Zach as soon as we're back to New York 'cause I don't want to ruin Hunter's party. And I won't be Pete's girlfriend 'till Zach can accept this situation. 'Till Zach can understand that Pete is all I want," I explain.
