6- Sleepless night

Adithi's P.O.V:

He went. I opened the door. But it was locked inside. I buzzed the bell. I think Neha Bhabhi is inside. What to reply when she ask about the injuries? Accident... I'll tell it as an accident.

But what about the coat? She'll definitely ask about it? The door opened. Kartika was standing. I couldn't believe my eyes. How is it possible?

She shook me. "Hey... What happened? What are these? How did you get these injuries?",she worried. I asked, "How did you come here?". She dragged me in and shut the door.

She said, "I just wanted to see you. So I have came here. I came here in the noon. Neha Bhabhi was waiting for you but after receiving your message she went. I was waiting for you".

She asked, "What happened to you? Why are you like this?". I said, "Nothing... Just an accident". She asked, "Then what's this?", pointing the coat.

I explained everything to her. She hugged me and said, "Thank God... Nothing happened to her... God sent him to save you".

I said, "But how's that possible? I saw him. He was there Infront of me. He tried to kill me. I don't know my thoughts were different that time",tears rolled down my eyes.

She said, "What are you saying?". I said, "Karti that time, I was in a different environment. Only me and him were there. No one came to my mind except You and him",cryingly.

She narrowed her eyes. I continued, "It was like you saved me not him. For my eyes there was only you. That's why I hug...".

She asked, "You?". I continued, "That's why I hugged him. I cried a lot. I didn't realize that it was him. I came to my conscious after sometime". She said, "So Mr.Arrogant saved you". I nodded. She said, "Come first refresh yourself. Then we can talk".

I refreshed myself. I looked at the coat. I hung it in the holder. I went near it. The fading perfume smell entered my lungs. The hug flashed my mind. What would he think?

He was caressing me. That means he was trying to console me. What did I lament to him? I scratched my head. I went to the dining table.

She have prepared dinner for me. I sat beside her. She asked, "Is it painful?"pointing the injury in my head. "No... Actually he gave me a pain relief tablet. So I don't have any pain",I said.

She served me the food. I started to eat. But my hand it was painful. I couldn't stretch it properly. My wrist have swollen. Now only I noticed it. It might have been injured when they were attacking me.

She asked, "Shall I feed you? It's like you're struggling with your hand". I said, "Yes". She fed me. She asked, "Mr.Arrogant is somewhat good isn't he?". I said, "I don't know what to say Karti".

Kartika's P.O.V:

Oops! I have asked her a wrong question. I thought that she is very much confused about him. So that I decided to clear it. But she is not well. It's not a right time.

I'll talk about it later. I have more time. I said, "Ok... It's getting late... You have take rest. Come on",I dragged her to the bed. I made her lie down and wrapped a bedsheet around her. Within few seconds she drifted to sleep.

She is very scared. She thinks that she have forgotten him. But at the deepest core of her heart he is still living and her fears are giving life to him. I have to change her. But what to do?

Jeeva's P.O.V:

I was rolling in my bed. I am not feeling sleepy. Today's incident have snatched my sleep. Something have happened to her. But what? I have to sleep. Tomorrow I've got a lot of works to do. I turned and tried to sleep. But I can't.
