I closed my eyes trying to make myself think that it all in my head that he isn't here. When I opened them I hoped to not see him there but fate has other plans he was there all right and getting closer by the second.

I took a step back as he took a step towards me. My breathing hitched heart beating fast.

"What do you want?" I hissed.

"Oh come on not happy to see me are you?" he said with a chuckle.

"You better leave Trevor," he took a step closer. "Didn't you hear me?"

"Just as feisty as your mother," he said with a chuckle.

I froze in place as he spoke about my mother the sadness in me replaced with anger how dare he speak of her after what he did.

"You have no right to speak of her!"

"Why not afraid that the horrible day would come back? Afraid to remember the screaming of pain she gave of as I killed your father in front of her?" he asked with a malicious grin.

And the memories came back.

:
I was ten my my parent and I played outside a nice warm summer day. My father chased me around as I screamed for mom laughing hoping he wouldn't catch up to me. "Mommy, mommy," I giggled.

"Gotcha," my father said as he picked me up in his arms and spun me around. My mother laughed at the side.

"Come mommy," I said as I reached out to her.

"What happen baby?"

"Not fair my dad is faster than me," I pouted.

"Oh don't worry one day you will be faster then him and you will beat him at this game," she said with a smile.

"Okay mommy," I said with a smile.

A noise from the woods startled us we turned to see my uncle Trevor coming toward us. "Uncle!" I yelled happy.

He waved to me. His face was serious not a single glint of joy was found on it I stopped smiling and looked at him.

My father turned to my mother and nodded to her. 'what was that about.' My father turned to his wolf and so did Uncle Trevor I didn't understand what was happening. My mother held me in her arms I hadn't noticed my father had handed me to her.

My father launched at my uncle I screamed. Why were they fighting? "Mommy tell them to stop!" I screamed out as tears rushed down my cheeks.

"Let's go baby," my mother ran back to the house.

My father was hurt and ran the opposite way from us my uncle hot on his trail.

"Daddy run!" I screamed.

"Stay here," my mother ordered hiding me in a closet.

"Mommy will daddy be okay?" I sniffed.

"Yes sweetheart. No matter what don't get out of here don't make any noise. Do you understand?"

"Yes mommy," I said.

"Good. You will be a strong and powerful she-wolf one day. Don't let anything bring you down okay?" she asked.

"Yes mommy"

"Good daddy and me will always love you," she kissed my forehead and gave me a tight hug.

I didn't understand why she said those things I was going to see her and dad later but I just went along with it. She closed the door and I sat inside. You could hear the heavy paws hitting the floor and the growling of wolfs.
