It's been four whole weeks since we've lived here. I miss America so much, I had to leave my best friend Emma. I do have to admit, England is gorgeous! I can't even begin with what is the prettiest. We live in a medium sized house in Whitby. The grass is green, the sky is blue, there is little rain, and you can see for miles.
"Graylee. Come downstairs please." My mom calls. I walk out of my room and down the stairs.
"Yeah mom?" I walk into the office. She's sitting at the computer.
"I enrolled you for school." She waves me over.
"What school?" I come over and look at the screen.
"Belmont High. It's a private school."
"Looks nice." I straiten myself.
"We are going to visit it tomorrow." She smiles.
"Will Kenna be there as well?" I question.
"Yes. It is eight grade through twelfth."
"Okay. Thanks mom." I walk into the kitchen.
"Of course. I will be working in town."
"Okay." I walk into the pantry and grab a bag of chips. I open the small bag and walk back upstairs to my room. I sit criss cross on my bed and eat the chips. In the past month I have finished decorating my room, which is pretty impressive for me.

I admire my work as I crumple the empty bag of chips and toss it in the trash bin. I walk down the stairs and out the front door. I sit on a rocking chair and look out at the street of houses in front of me. A small girl runs across the road and onto our porch.
"Gray!" She smiles and jumps on my lap.
"What's up Kenna?" I smile at her and move her French braids to each side of her head.
"Oh, not much. " she looks up at me.
"Same here Kenna." I smile at her.
"Want to come with me to take Charlie on a walk?" She hops up.
"Okay Ken." I stand up and we walk inside. I walk to the the mud room and grab his leash. Kenna runs to the living room and I trail behind her.
"Charlie boy! Want to go for a walk?" She kneels down at him and he sits up. I walk over and attach the leash to his bright red collar. I walk back out to the entrance and out of the house.
"It's so nice out today isn't it?" I walk down the sidewalk towards town.
"Very." Kenna smiles and walks along side me with Charlie leading us on. We wave at an older man watering the grass. He smiles and waves back at us.
"People are super nice Gray."
"They truly are." We continue to walk, passing a few kids about my age riding bikes or sitting at the park. We turn around and walk back to the house. I take the collar off of Charlie and he goes back to sleeping on his bed.

A few hours later the sky darkens and I decide to go to sleep for the night.
