"A zip line!" I exclaim. I have loved zip lines and roller coasters since living in America. They were everywhere.
"You have to have a zip line at a relax place." Ash rolls his eyes playfully. I giggle as I put a harness on. I tighten the straps and hook myself to the line.
"Should I go?" I ask, eager to ride the long zip line.
"One thing; it ends at the campfire." Ash grins.
"Okay!" I smile.
"3. 2. 1!" He yelps and shoves me forward off the wooden platform and almost immediately I feel the rushing wind all over my body as I sail downward through the air. My mouth is pulled into a huge grin as I fly over Liddy and the boys, past the beautiful waterfall, and to the campfire, in which I haven't seen yet.
"WooHoo!" I scream and the zip line circles around the campfire and down into the woods about 100 feet. I slam into the wooden platform and slowly unhook myself and take my harness off. I set it on a pile of harnesses and turn around to see a button that reads, press when you have finished your ride. I press the button. I assume it alerts Ash that he can ride. I walk down one set of stairs and sit on a bench to wait for Ash. He has been super sweet today. I think about my crush on him until I hear a thud and a grunt coming from above.
"Hi Ash." I say, immediately face palming when I hear him snort.
"Hello Gray. How was the ride?" He responds formally. I hear a clutter of harnesses.
"It was fun. Thank you so much." I hug him as he comes to my level, but I quickly release. Graylee! What are you doing.
"Of course. Let's go down to the campfire." He says, disregarding my hug. I follow him down and out of the trees until I see River and Ridley. I run to Ridley and slide next to her. She throws me my towel smiling.
"How'd you get this?" I ask curiously.
"Ash texted us and told us to get your stuff." She shrugs. I look over at River tossing Ash a dark blue towel and turn back to Ridley. I tell her about how amazing the zip line was and she just laughs and agrees.
"Ladies." River's voice echoes above us.
"Hey River." I smile at him. He keeps his gaze on Ridley.
"Let's go so we don't miss dinner." He helps Ridley up and as they walk away, I stand up and trial behind them. I have no idea where Ash disappeared to. I push away the thought as I walk past Max and he comes up next to me.
"Hey Gray." He smiles.
"Hi Max." I shrug.
"Did you like this afternoon?" His eyes are shining, kind of like a reflection of sunlight.
"Oh it was wonderful!" My eyes lighting up as we walk.
"That's good. I have to run ahead. Bye Gray." He waves and runs off into the school. Our group slowly trails behind him into the school. We walk down the science and math halls and out to the courtyard. River parts ways with Ridley and I jog up to join her walk into the girls building. We run into our room and I close the door and jump on her bed next to her.
"So." I look at her smirking.
"What?" She looks at me quizzically. I roll my eyes.
"What happened!" I grin. It's obvious that she likes River and that he likes her back.
"Oh we just made s'mores and talked by the fire." She perks up. "It was really fun." I smile at her as I go to my closet and grab a soft baby pink top and some white jean shorts as well as a pair of light pink converse high tops and a silver bracelet.
"That's so nice Ridley. I'm going to shower and change, I'll be back." I smile and grab my towel as I skip into the bathroom.
---
I step into the first shower, which is the one I use, and let the warm water fall around me. Grabbing the soap I scrub my body clean and rinse myself off. I put the soap down and squirt some shampoo into my hand which I massage into my scalp and in my long hair. I wash out the bubbly shampoo and do the same with conditioner. Once my conditioner is all rinsed out, I turn off the water and twist the water out of my hair. I grab my towel and dry off quickly. I then wrap my towel around my hair and quickly get dressed. I hate blow drying my hair, but dinner is soon so it needs to be done. The hot air pushes my hair around until, finally, it is dry. I brush it out and hang my towel up, walking out of the bathroom.
---
As I step out of the bathroom I see a bouquet of roses sitting on my bed, but no Ridley in sight. I go look at them and there is no note or anything identifying who it's from. I grab a glass and fill it with water so they will stay alive. I put the roses in the cup and I find a note under the flowers. It reads you, Graylee Harrison, are wonderful. I truck the note in my desk drawer and head out to the dining hall.

A:N// okay, comment who you think sent the note and roses! Is it Max? Ash? Lucas? Is it River trying to get to Ridley through Graylee? Or is it Ava trying to somehow get in E.L.M.?
