Annabella's POV
Jake just let me get a kitten! Im so surprised and happy at the same time. Just Jake asking if I wanted to go out and get dinner and go to the pet store made me happy.
When we got home I took Bagel and all his new things up to my room, I layed down his little blue bed and scratching post. Put his food, water and litter box in the corner of my room and his toys in his bed. His colar is black with a bagel charm on it.
I haven't told anyone else in the house about Bagel yet.
I go down stairs to find Erika cooking some cake.
"Erika, can I show you something?" I ask.
"Of course!" She responds. I lead her upstairs into my bedroom.
"Awh, he's so cute!" she says in awe.
"Jake got him for me." I respond picking him up and petting him.
"Whats his name?" Erika asks petting the top of his head.
"Bagel." I respond.
"That's adorable, ive got to go finish the cake so it don't burn." Erika says walking out the room.
I decide to text Avery.
Annabella💜: heyyy i got a kittennn named bagel
Avery🙌😊: awhhhh what kind?
Annabella💜: maine coon
Avery🙌😊: thats cute. Gtg ttyl bbg💜
I hear a knock on my door as I pick up Bagel.
"Come in!" I answer. Setting him down in his bed.
"Hey uh, Annabella. Can I ask you a question?" AJ asks.
"Yeah, of course anything." I respond.
"Would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow? At the fair?" AJ asks blushing.
"Of course! I would love to!" I respond. Does AJ like me how I like him?
"Awesome and, is that a kitten?" He asks kind of confused.
"Yes, his name is Bagel." I respond picking him up.
"Awh." AJ says petting his head.
"So tomorrow at noon." AJ says.
"Yes. Wanna go for a walk? Its not to hot out." I ask, hoping we will end up at Starbucks.
"I would love to." He answers. I put on my shoes and throw my phone in my pocket.
"Jake Im going for a walk with AJ!" I yell.
"Okay!" he calls back.
As we are walking AJ speaks up breaking the silence, "Wanna get an icecream? I know a good place." He ask looking down at me.
"I don't see why not." I respond.
As we walk AJ's fingers intertwine with mine. I never noticed how small my hands were.
"So tell me about your music career." I say to start a conversation.
"Well I had a song released 2 months ago, well I didn't write it I just sang it and it's called, Used To Be. Besides that I do covers on YouTube." He responds.
"Cool, I play and sing mostly alone and kept to myself. No one really has listened to me play." I respond, feeling his grip tighten.
"I've heard you and you're amazingly talented. Maybe we could do duets on my YouTube chanel." AJ offers.
"That would be interesting." I respond.
We skip the icecream and just walk around talking with the comfort of eachother.
