Annabella is a 15 year old coloured girl who has spent the majority of her life in and out of foster homes and though the doors of many adoptive parents. What if this is the last place she has to move to?
When I wake up the next morning I remember AJ asking me out. I smile as I stretch my arms getting out of my bed.
I throw on some black high waisted shorts and a pink crop top.

I go down stairs into the living room to see Jake and a few of the others in the living-room wearing their swimsuits.
"Hey kiddo we're going to the beach today, go get ready." Jake says putting some sunscreen in a bag.
I go back upstairs to put on my bathingsuit and pack somethings. I put my shorts on over my bottoms until we get to the beach and throw my crop top into my bag.

I grab my bag, phone and black sandals and head downstairs.
AJ is shirtless wearing his swimmingsuit talking to Jake.
"Awh! My little girl has a.boyfriend!" Jake says comming up to me and giving me a hug.
"Huh, makes you feel old, right pops?" I joke and we laugh.
By now everyone in team 10 is in the living-room ready to go to the beach, a hour ride away.
In our car its me, Jake, Erika, AJ and uncle Kade. I'm in the middle between AJ on my left and Kade on my right. Jake is driving and Erika is sitting shotgun.
I take a selfie with Kade and AJ for snapchat Beach Day😜
I give AJ one of my headphones so we can listen to music while we drive.
I guess I fell asleep during the ride cause when I woke up 10 minutes before we reached the beach I was looking at my snapchat.
On AJ's story was a picture of me sleeping with my head on his shoulder captioned babes so cute when she sleeps😍 I screenshot it and smile.
Then I look at Uncle Kades story and its me sleeping with my head on AJ's shoulder and AJ kissing the top of my head. I screenshot that one too.
"She's awoken!" Erika calls as we pull up to a Wendy's drive thru.
We all get Frosties. We eat them until we arive at the beach.
Once we get there we bring all our stuff to a spot on the beach.
I take my shorts of slowly looking at my thigh, thank god my scars are faded.
"Hey babe wanna take a pic?" He asks.
We stand next to eachother with our arms behind eachothers backs. Uncle Kade takes the picture of us.
Everyone decides to jump in the ocean but AJ and I want to walk the beach for a little bit.
AJ's POV
We hold hands as we walk along the beach. I admire Annabellas beauty.
We talk and laugh while walking for about 30 minuets.
"Babe, can we go swimming now?" Annabella asks looking up at me.
"Of course." I whisper leaning down to give her a peck on the lips.
We walk back to where everyone else is and walk into the ocean swimming with everyone else.
3 hours later
Its getting a bit dark so we decide to get out and dry off.
Annabella walks up to my with her towel wrapped around her shoulders and her teeth chattering because shes cold.
I put my towel around my shoulders and pull Annabella into a hug, also wrapping it around her.
The whole ride home she sleeps with my arms wrapped around her.
