When AJ and I get home from school we sit at the table doing homework.
"Annabella, would you like to go see the new Transformer movie in a half hour with me?" Jake asks. I figure that is for bonding time.
"Of course!" I reply.
In the car its a weird kind of silence until Jake speaks up, "What kind of music do you like to listen to?" Jake asks me as he looks ahead at the road.
"Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, Troye Sivan and most pop music." I reply.
"Nice." Jake replies as he pulls into a parking space.
We wait in line for a couple minuets. "Two for the Transformer movie." Jake says.
"Okay that will be $12." The girl at the window says. Jake passes her $12 and we walk into the concession room.
"What would you like?" Jake asks me.
"A small popcorn and a small Pepsi." I respond.
"What would you guys like?" A man behind the counter asks.
"A small popcorn, a medium popcorn, and 2 small Pepsi's please." Jake says getting out the $20 and giving it to the man.
We sat in the movie having some small talk and laughing together.
"Thank you." I say 3/4 way through the movie.
"No problem but, for what?" Jake whispers.
"Being my dad." I say with a voice break.
"Awh, you're welcome! Thanks for being the best daughter I could ever wish for!" Jake says wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
Sorry for the short chapter but im not home, im going swimming in a bit and ill post 2 juicy chapters tonight, okay? Love you all💜
