Chapter 12

Something is upstairs. As I reach the stair case, I place my foot on the first step and begin to walk slowly up with Austin trailing behind me aswell. I have this weird feeling. I'm in attack mode. As I reach the top of the steps, I turn my head to see Austin right next to me. He looks at my arm once again. 

"Marisa, why did you have that bandage on your arm?" he asks

Why is he so concerned about my arm all of a sudden? Why does it matter to him? Great! Now I have to make up an excuse. I am so bad at making up excuses. Damn!  

"Uh, I fell while I was walking in the woods." I reply back quickly

He nods

Yes! He bought my excuse... I hope.

AUSTIN"S POV

I looked down at Marisa's arm and my eyes grew big. She had four holes in her skin. They were bite marks. I know those bite marks. They are from a werewolf. How did she get those and how long ago? I need to ask her about that.

"Marisa, why did you have that bandage on your arm?" I ask innocently as possible

Let's see what stupid excuse she will come up with this time.

"Uh, I fell while I was walking in the woods." she replyed back

Of course! Out of all other excuses she could of given me, she chose the falling excuse.

I nod in response snd she sighes in relief

What is she hiding from me?

When she goes in the woods, she is a different person. She basically lived in the woods.

MARISA"S POV

I'm glad he bought my excuse. As I turn my head, I look through the hallway to see if anyone was there. All I could smell was the presence of another. I begin to growl. Why am I growling? Before you know it, you hear howling and growling and it's all coming from me. Next thing you know, I am attacking someone. It was wasn't just anyone, it was...........
