I could hardly breathe or move without feeling a sharp pain in my stomach. I'm being denied everything I need; water, food. Just alone, in my depressing white cell with the lights always blindingly bright and unable to move without gasping like a fish out of water and hissing with the pain. I had broken ribs, I could tell that much, and my knee had gotten a lot worse. It was swollen almost twice it's normal size and it ached all the time.
I just lay there, eyes closed, willing for someone, anyone to find me. The room was either incredibly cold or so hot I would pass out. I was sure I had a fever, and I knew, if this kept up I wouldn't last much longer. Good, I thought smiling; let it kill me.
Spencer
She was fading faster, I could feel it. She'd been getting worse for the past few days now and I knew I'd have to hurry. We had three days left, we could be there in one if we ran and didn't stop, but neither of us could go for so long. We needed our rest and Kat still needed training. I had a feeling one of us wasn't going to make it out, and I'll do anything to make sure everyone else is safe.
I could hear Kat's feet landing softly in rythm with my own, and I knew, from the way I was breathing, and the sweat rolling off me that we'd have to stop soon. I pushed myself harder, going faster and faster and I could hear Kat struggle to stay with me, but I ran and ran. I was becoming desperate but I didn't know what I could do. The words Gena had told me were rocketing around in my head. Bouncing off the walls as I tried to forget.
There will come a time, when you will be forced to choose.
Choose wrong and a friend you will loose,
Choose right and the results remain.
There will be a time for revenge
Take it and all your troubles will end.
Be cautious for a tragedy shall strike,
You will have to take a life.
There was more, much more, but I couldn't be bothered with it as I ran. Going all out like that was exhilerating and I was getting adjusted to the speed, I pulled water from ground as I ran and built up more and more energy for myself, it wouldn't be enough to continue on as I was, but hearing Kat pull up beside me I smiled and kept running.

The next time I passed out, it was from hunger. My body was aching, physcially because of my injuries and from the hallow ache in my stomach. Seriously, if I went anylonger my stomach would prbably eat my liver. When I came around I was still in a white room, but the ceiling was different. It looked more like styrofoam, like the ceilings in a school. I looked around, my limbs were stiff but still I shifted and didn't feel the sharp pain in my ribs.
What was going on. I tried to sit up, but found a wide black band around my waist, my arms were also held down and so were my legs. I lifted my head to look around. There was a constant beeping, very rythmic and steady, then it started getting faster and faster as I looked around. I could feel myself beginning to panic.
There were wires hooked up to my arm, small monitor wires leading to my arms, chest, legs and face. I was in some sort of hospital room. Just then I heard a noise that sounded like some sort of compression and my eye lids began to feel heavy.
Kat
Sitting in the fire grate I closed my eyes and rested my head against the stone wall. Breathing deeply I felt the burning sensation leave me slowly, the fire literally leached the pain out of me. I could idly hear Spencer in the bathroom but, this was time to relax, to regain strength, so I let my eyes close and let my mind relax.
